Variations Week: Connie's View

Here is my interpretation of this fabulous plate by Teresa Sherman.
I chose to do 2 different cards using one stamp on each.

Below is my "Map Card"

Papers are by DCWV "All About Boys"
Color by Copic
I looked everywhere for a brass anchor to add and
finally had to settle for a plastic sword....the
starfish looks authentic at least.

Here is my "Pirate Card"

I used another sheet of the DCWV papers on this card and
also cut the words from the first card's paper and
framed them in a Spellbinder die "Fancy Tags"
I added a little gold glitz with a metallic gel pen by Pentel.

Be SURE to check this

artist out for some really great stamps!

  1. Have fabulous Connie - like your style!
    Best wishes, Sharon

  2. LOL- Connie- I LOVE them! Especially the sword!!! How fabulous and my boys think they are awesome too!

  3. Connie, I love your style on these and the sword, starfish and that paper are just perfect with these images.

  4. Wow, both your creations are awesome Connie. I really like the first one with the map. I think the sword looks great, though if you had found a brass piece that would have been neat. That starfish is wonderful. Lovely projects. Holley

  5. great cards Connie, love the embellishments they are perfect.

  6. Connie, your view on these images are awesome, I like how you made two seperate cards and they both are great. Love the sword and starfish.
