Be my valentine

Here's a wonderful Sweet Pea stamp from artist Terra Bidlespacher called Rainbow Drear (Plate #182). If you check out the original as colored by the artist, you will see how different the image looks on my card. I colored up this image for a Valentine. Even though she kind of has a ho-hum look on her face, just wait until her Valentine shows up. Her little face is going to light up.
Isn't she so adorable and dressed for the holiday? I added some wonderful glitter adorned paper from K&Co, some beautiful flowers with bling and die cut the image out with a huge circular die cut and adorned it with pink ribbon. Here's a close up of the stamped image, colored in Copic Markers:

Can't you image the smile coming to this little girl's face? I almost have to laugh and think if you have a teenager, you are probably used to seeing this expression a lot anyways! If this is the look on my face on Valentines, you best bring out the chocolate (white chocolate preferred, thanks!!)

Have fun making tons of Valentines for the upcoming holiday, be sure to check out all the wonderful stamps on sale at the Sweet Pea website! Also Feb is going to be a month long blog candy celebration at Holley's Blog with games and fun going on all month long in a huge giveaway to celebrate the two year anniversary of successful brain surgery. Be sure to come by and win some!

Cheers, Holley

Rainbow Drear - Ready for Christmas

I am having a lot of fun converting images I have to be ready for the holidays.  The latest was done using Rainbow Drear by Terra Bidlespacher.

I colored her using Christmas colors and had some presents all ready and stacked next to her.  I am really hoping that she is the present wrapping fairy and will see fit to visit my house and help me out!

You can get Rainbow Drear as a single or one of four fabulous Terra Bidlespacher images on Plate #182

Anne

This lovely lass is Anne by Terra Bidlespacher and she is on plate #182 with three other cuties.

I just knew that as a bit of a pirate she needed to have a touch of red and that a background with script was appropriate.  Doesn't she just look like she is enjoying a bit of relaxation on the beach?  That sounds pretty wonderful to me right about now as well.

Meet Grendalyn

Here's a wonderful image from Sweet Pea Artist Terra Bidlespacher called "Grendalyn"(Plate #182). Isn't she great? I love this artist's work. If you click the link and see Terra's coloring and design of the image, you can see that this image wasn't necessarily meant as a halloween theme image, but if you look at my coloring and card layout here, that is exactly how I used it!

Sometimes I think it is great to see how another person uses an image when I get a stamp and how differently they may color it and make it look. Take a peek on the Sweet Pea Website and see how the artist makes this image look compared to my card today.

Here's another great idea that I have for this stamp, I have the most delicious printed paper in a halloween theme and I want to stamp this image on it to cut out the hat and the outfit to make a paper-piecing. That would look so cute! She would look wonderful with some Halloween patterned paper Hat and matching outfit!

Hope this card is putting you in the Halloween Mood!! Be sure to stop by the Sweet Pea store and check out all the great images from this artist and so many others!

It's celebration week for me at my blog due to just passing another milestone post-brain surgery! In celebration, my personal blog's postings this week are full of candy, and I am gonna give-away a wonderful Terra Bidlespacher stamp to someone who leaves a comment on my blog (CLICK HERE) posting! Go check it out.

Cheers, Holley
