Ria presents Kitty Queen by Zoimar Lezama....

Good morning Sweet Pea's
here I am again with my inspirational posting and this time I used the Kitty Queen from Zoimar Lezama....
How perfect is she for all the teen girls :) I know a couple who would love this one...
So I coloured this one with Marco Raffine pencils and used a nameless paperpad and a gorgeouss die from Tattered Lace...

I hope you enjoyed my inspiration for this week...

Holley Presents Kitty Queen by Zoimar Lezama

Here's a great image from Sweet Pea stamps artist Zoimar Lezama called Kitty Queen. I created this stair step card which you can see below standing and on the following image how it folds to fit into a  A2 sized envelope.

Each step on this card has a great sentiment from Cosmo Cricket.  "Dear Thoughts, be happy" "Dear Job, let's get together." "Dear Self, I know you can do this."  I also added some cute buttons in oranges to match the shimmery cardstock from Paper Temptress.

I hope you adore this cutie!  She's a fun image for all those teen or tween aged girls in your life.  Be sure and check out all of Zoimar Lezama's images at the Sweet Pea store.

Cheers, Holley

Jane presents Copia by Zoimar Lezama

This week is Artist Week and the whole DT are using images from Zoimar Lezama, I have chosen to use Copia.  The image was coloured with Polychromos and for the background I used a stencil and Pan Pastels.  When I coloured the image initially I had no background so added a digital background by removing the white space from the image once I had taken a photo of it.
I just loved colouring all the folds on this image :)
For my card base I covered a white card with a shimmering slightly embossed paper and then added a dark green layer in the same type of paper.  The green layer was mounted with foam tape.  Next I added some lace and allowed it to hang over the right edge a bit and on top of that some pink organza ribbon.  The ribbon does not really show unless you look hard but is the same ribbon I used for the bow and is a nice way to carry the colour.
What fun I had making my bow lol, I was trying to make something that resembled sections of a butterfly in keeping with the image.  To hold my bow in place I used a hat pin to which I added pearls and a hand made bead along with a bit of old broken necklace.  The pointy end of the hat pin was then passed through my bow from bottom to top and the end then bent over to make a hook.  The hook end was then secured to the back of the image. Below you can see a close up of the hat pin and bow.
Onto my flowers.  I used Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms and Foliage.  Two of the roses were cut using the same paper as I used to back my card and the other three some patterned Papermania paper.  The leaves were cut using the same dark green paper I had used earlier.  To complete my flower spray I added a small net and wire butterfly and dotted some pearls around.
With the scraps of paper I had left over I decorated the inside of the card using Spellbinders Foliage again and Memory Box Levington Border

Thank you for stopping by and hope you are having a special day taday :)

Tera presents Good Morning by Zoimar Lezama

Hallo,

I have a cute and quick card for you this am for all the coffee and PJ's lovers out there :)
This cute image is from Zoimar Lezama and I colored her with prismacolor and polychrome pencils onto a kraft colored cardstock. I used a garden type background paper in a kraft color because I often sit on my patio (aka garden - city woman type :) with a cup of tea.... (not usually in my underwear , but sometimes in my PJ's :)
  Have a great Day everyone!!!!

Good Morning!

Here's a wonderful Sweet Pea stamp from artist Zoimar Lezama. This adorable image is called Good Morning.  Isn't she too cute?  I just love her. I have been working on creating cards using colors that are not my usual, so Green is a big one for me.  This green and brown combo seems to go well together.

Here's a closeup of this adorable image

Be sure and check out the other fun images from Zoimar Lezama's collection. My total favorite has got to be  Pastel Goth, oh Cutie!  Drop by our Facebook group called Sweet Pea Stamps Friends and Fans where we have all sorts of card sharing, chatting, great contests with prizes and fun!

Pastel Goth

Do you ever have one of those images that just makes you go, "EEK, I GOTTA have that image!"  This was one of those images for me.  I don't know why, because I never was a Goth girl as a kid but maybe my spirit was, lol.  This cutie comes from Sweet Pea Stamps artist Zoimar Lezama and she's called Pastel Goth.  Be sure and check out her coloring on this stamp because I love it.
I added a steampunk embossed background as well as some diecut hearts to go with her.  I can think so many fun color combos for this stamp.

I gave her the lightest grey eyes. I guess I just love that color on eyes because it reminds me of my hubby.  I also have to say I totally adore that she has a cherry tattoo (which I totally imagine to be a fake) and a backpack.  Ahh, cute kids.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Holley
