Featured Artist Week: Rachel Anderson

Hello and good morning everyone. This week we have Featured Artist Week again. And this week we all from the team had a play with an image by the fabulous artist Rachel Anderson. My choice was 'Angelic'. I love all of Rachel's images, but this one is very special to me. This magical image is available as a single rubber stamp and on Plate # 95 together with three other gorgeous images. And it is available as a Digital Image too.

Sweet Dreams

This beautiful image is drawn by Rachel Anderson for Sweet Pea Stamps.  It is called Sweet Dreams

Isn't the little mouse watching over her just adorable?  She seems to be resting so peacefully.

The background paper is from the Basic Grey Little Black Dress Collection.  Add a few gems in a swirl and it is all ready to go.

When I saw those enchanting images of the Rachel Andersons Collection I fell in love with them immediately. They are so sweet and magical. When I coloured them I even thought to be very gentle to not disturb those sweet little fairies...

The image of my first creation is called 'Sweet Dreams'. The second one is called 'Lily of the Valley'. They both are on plate 95 together with two more awesome images. You can get them as single stamps as well.

Here on my first card I used DP of 7gypsies and Kaisercraft. The flowers are from Wild Orchid and the lace, ribbon and blings are from my stack. As mostly I coloured her with Distress Inks on 300 g watercolour paper.

On my second creation I used DP from Prima 'Annalee Collection'. Flowers are from Wild Orchid. The lace I found on the fleamarket.

Here on this card I tried out two things new to me. First I used some mulberry paper for framing the image. I tore it in stripes and drape it to the back of the image. I love the way it looks and I am sure it was not the last time I did it.

And second I put some beads in different green colours and pearls to a thin wire and formed it to leafs. I think this looks quite nice as well.

Connie-Lily Of The Valley

This lovely  Sweet Pea Stamps  image is by artist Rachel Anderson 

from Plate #95 and is titled

"Lily Of The Valley"

I colored her with Copic markers and put some glitz

on her wings and the drop of water with a clear

Gelly Roll glitter pen by Sakura.

The saying was cut off a paper from

my stash and everything

was layered with black text paper.

Some black pearls and black sheer ribbon

finished it off.

Snow Fae

Today I want to show you a card I created with Snow Fae, one of the fabulous and magical stamps of the Rachel Andersons Collection. You can find it on plate 95. It comes together with three other lovely designs, or is available as single stamp as well.

This lovely fairy goes very well with the very cold and icy weather we have over here. We haven't see the sun since days, but this sweet Snow Fae haves such a warm and light charisma, although surrounded by cold snow.

This image by Rachel Anderson (plate 95) is so sweet that I could hardly wait to color it!

Lots of blending with my Copics and I hope I got the look I wanted...sort of a

sense of impending storm along with a surreal quality.....

Lily Of The Valley and Sweet Dreams

I'm back with another card today. I have a Sweet Pea card to share with you. This beautiful image is by one of our new artist Rachel Anderson at Sweet Pea Stamps. The name of this image is called "Lily Of The Valley". Christmas is finally over!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Now it's time to get back into the swing of things. I have 3 cards to share with you today and all are new images from Sweet Pea Stamps. The first 2 are from one of the newest artisit at Sweet Pea Stamps and her name is Rachel Anderson. For this 1st card I used "Angelic" by Rachel Anderson sheet#1/ Plate#95. Isn't she so adorable??
