Variations Week: Suzanne's View

Hi today I am sharing my Easter Blessings creations, this beautiful image is by Katerina Koukiotis's and is available in both rubber and digi format.

I have coloured with Copics, a little Polychromos pencil and spica pens.
DP from Pion, lace and ribbon, Kaisercraft pearls, rose from Wild Orchids Crafts.

I created the corner from a Cherry Lynne Die, embossed with Lindy Stamp Gang embossing powder.

I have also added a charm from my stash and cut wings from glitter paper and a paper doily.

Hugs
Suzanne

Variations Week: Nataliya's View

Here is my DT card for Variation week at Sweet Pea Stamps. This week we showcasing stamp by Katerine Koukiotis "Easter Blessing". To color image i used pencils and ink.

Also i added to my card a Tag in shape of the bird cage.  It's like this gorgeous Angel said to a Bird "You are free to fly". On the top of my Tag i add butterfly made of clay. I used 3 different die cuts and one punch.

 More embellishments.
Thanks for looking.

Variations Week: Aletha’s View

This week is Variations Week at Sweet Pea Stamps. Our image is the beautiful “Easter Blessing” and it was designed by Katerina Koukiotis. You can find Easter Blessing in digital format or as a rubber stamp.

Easter Blessing was a joy to color with Copics. I have tried to go with a distressed look, but I still like my image and colors to pop.

After all the distressing was done, and all my layers were assembled, I added some vintage cotton tatting from my stash. The flowers are from Petaloo and Prima. I’ve had this charm lying around for a while and decided it would be perfect for this card.

I hope that you come join us in our Sweet Pea StampsFacebook group. We have a weekly contest for your chance to win a digi image of your choice from the Sweet Pea Store. Click here to jump to Sweet Pea’s Facebook page. Here you will find all the happenings and sales that go on weekly.

Do you need some more fun? We have a monthly challenge going on right now at One Sweet Challenge. Our theme is “Ringing in Spring.” Sweet Pea’s Designers have created some amazing little pieces of art. I hope you join us.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you stop by every day and check out the variations from all the designers. You can find more details on my project by visiting my blog AJ’s Designs.

Sweet Pea Stamps

Hello folks, here I am again with another creation for  Sweet Pea Stamps.  This week is Variation Week and the team are working with the digi Easter Blessing by Katerina Koukiotis.  This image shouted vintage to me and I fancied going with a monochromatic theme too, trying to capture and aged appearance.  Not sure I managed what I was trying to do lol.

I started by printing the digi and colouring with Promarkers,  I then used a brown stamping pad around the edges after I had die cut the digi with Spellbinders Grand Labels 1.
After spending ages trying to find the right backing paper and not winning I decided to make my own.  First I stamped with the same brown ink I edged the digi cut out with.
Next I de-bossed the paper with an Embossilicious folder and air brushed with Promarker Walnut to tone the yellow cream paper I had used and bring it more in line with the colours I had used to colour the digi.
The brown base mount was a bit plain so I covered it with copper/bronze angle hair then it was time to hunt out some lace and then ready to assemble.
The card needed something else and after thinking about flowers etc. I settled for a Marianne die - Branch 2.  I stuck the same copper/bronze angel hair I had used for the base mount and the same card together then cut.  And here we have the finished card.

Thank you for stopping by :)

Double Inspiration with Nataliya

Hello all. Today my post with Sweet Pea Stamps, and i like to share with you my project. I made a Tag, with lovely image call Easter Blessing by Katerine Koukiotis. Really simple design, and it's going to my Baby -Girl Katharine.
Speaking of Katharine... Here is something little from her. She saw me coloring SPS images, and she ask me if she can have one. So i let her pick one. As you see, she never finished color lol, but i love her colors. And she try so hard to stay in lines. So this is my inspiration, and i know now what colors i will pick for this stamp. Oh yes and she like her scissors as much as Mommy. Ha.
Have a good day everyone.
