Kiara - Tera

Hallo,
As you maybe can tell by now - I love to alter things - often journals - and today is another journal for you. This Journal is about 6 by 8 inches.
I used 'Kiara' by Elaine Cox and colored her with koh-i-noor pencils.
I layered her onto a couple different handmade papers - the bottom one has a great oceany look to it, and then added some seashells, a metal seashell charm, and some pearl drops with a viva décor pen.
I added some ribbon to use as a spot marker.
The journals are so easy to do - you should try one for yourself :)

Tera's Mermaid briefcase

Hallo,
Tera here with another project for you. I altered a briefcase and added a couple Sweet Pea Stamps images - one for each side - mermaid style.
This first picture features a mermaid by Norna J. Burnell called 'Rayne' and the other side I used Elaine Cox's 'Kiara'. Bothe were colored with prismacolor pencils and layered to a couple Spellbinders dies.
I covered the briefcase front and back with some pretty oceany looking paper and then added the image layers and lastly added some shells, charms and some beads too.
I had such fun with this one - the idea had been brewing for a long time (I have a large stash of used briefcases that I have plans for :)
All for me today - Have a great day!!!!

Tattoo Art and more

Today I want to show you two cards I made lately. The first one is made with this gorgeous image from the ching-chou kuiks fantasy art collection plate # 126. it comes with three other gorgeous images and three sentiments.

I coloured her up with Distress Inks. The heart is paper pieced. I wanted to surround her with those corners from Marianne Design. The black paper in the background is from Magnolia. For the dots I used a piece of foil with holes, don't know the name of it, and used it as a pencil.  I didn't want to add much more as I guess anything more would be too much.

For my second card I used one of those fabulous portrait stamps from the Elaine Cox's Art Collection. She is called 'Kiara' and comes on plate # 133 together with three other amazing portraits. She is available as a single stamp as well.

She is coloured with Distress Inks as well. The papers are from Websters Page. For the border I used a Martha Steward punch. The flowers are from Wild Orchid. The lace and ribbon is from my stash.

Thank you so much for having a look which is much appreciated. We just had a release of different amazing stamps from different and new artists. Just go to Sweet Pea Stamps to see them. Some of them are on Sale.

Have a wonderful day!
Hugs, Karina
