Joanne Schempp's Barbie

Hello there!
Happy new year to all of you. I hope you've been enjoying the Christmas celebration. We're now back to "normal life" with work, school and kindergarden. It is actually good to be back - although we're all so extremly tired after two weeks vacation... LOL

Today I am sharing a card with you, made with the beautiful Barbie stamp by Joanne Schempp for Sweet Pea Stamps. As usual I've been coloring up the image with Distress reinkers. And I've added some laces, a doily, cheesecloth, pearls and letterstickers. I've also been using my sewing machine and added stickles and Glossy Accents to the image.
I hope you like it! :)

Some details - you can maybe see the glitters on the bracelet and glossy accents on the bubbles

Joanne Schempp's Barbie

OHHHH... I LOVEJoanne Schempp! Her drawings make the most gorgeous and FUN stamps to color and I love every minute of it! I feel like I can be so creative and really let loose with her images. This one is called Barbie and it was FUN to work with! I colored it using Derwent water color pencils and copics for her skin and eyes. I added detail with Viva Decor pens also.

Here is a close up of this fun stamp and now you can really see the purple sparkle paper behind the image that I chose! I also used some really fin paper from Paper source that I had around for a while and it really seemed to work! Thanks for popping in and have a wonderful day!

Connie-Flower Friends

Plate below is #166 by Joanne Schempp:

and below is what I did with it:

I picked up Sweet Pea's plate #166 by Joanne Schempp and could not decide which beauty I wanted to play with so I used 3 of them on my card today.
You can find this lovely plate of images by clicking

HERE

Supplies:
SP plate 166 by Joanne Schempp
"Barbie"  (top flower face)
"Aurella"  (middle flower face)
"Diamond"  (bottom flower face)
Copic markers & airbrush system
1 1/4" circle punch-McGill
Spellbinders "Standard Circles" die
flower punch-Stampin' Up!
Vine die-Cheery Lynn Designs "Fanciful Flourish"

I airbrushed Copic markers for the cloud background using a torn paper as I couldn't find my cloud template.
After I had colored, cut out and assembled the elements to my liking I hand wrote the words.

I hope you enjoy viewing this project as much as I did making it.  I began it with a mini Geo Die in mind for the floral
portion and when that didn't look like I wanted it sort of evolved into this.  Isn't that how most art is produced......

Thanks for stopping by!
