Blog Hop Appreciation!

Welcome to the Sweet Pea stamps Blog Hop!

This hop is from a loyal group of Sweet Pea stamp fans who want to let Lynette know that we appreciate all her hard work bringing us the wonderful stamps in both rubber and digi format over the years.  Thanks so very much for all the wonderful images we have collected from you!

There are some random prizes along the way, as certain blog owners have decided to include a prize when you visit their blog so please leave some comments along the way as you see everyone's gorgeous Sweet Pea Stamp creations.

Also, the store closes at the end of the day on the 25th, so if you see some wonderful stamps on this blog hop, today is the last day to get them, so please drop by the store!

One Sweet Challenge - July 2013

It is time for another challenge over at the One Sweet Challenge Blog.  This time the topic is "red, white and blue".
As a member of the Sweet Pea Stamps Design Team I thought I'd show you a card I've made with the "red, white and blue" challenge topic.  For my card I have used the Sweet Pea Stamps digital image by Concetta Kilmer called "The Candy Striper".  She is so pretty with that long hair and her friend in her hand.  The backing papers I printed off about a year or so ago for the Diamond Jubilee here in the UK but have forgotten from where.  The image I have coloured in with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers.  I have made some die-cut flowers out of the scraps of paper left from the card.  The card is finished off with some fibres, brads, gems, pearls, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment and a sating edged organza ribbon bow.

The Candy Striper

Here's a brand new image from Sweet Pea stamps artist Concetta Kilmer called The Candy Striper.  I just LOVE this image.  She's got some great sassiness.  Just up my alley.  I decided to color her up in pink and black and create a card to match.

Here's a close up of the image itself.  Currently this image is being sold as a digi-stamp.

I layered the image on top of some gorgeous embossed paper using a folder from Cuttlebug and then took a Souffle pen and added white in various areas.  I also added some super cute sparkly buttons from American Traditionals.

Hope you will check out the newest Digi-Stamp images and create a card today!

Cheers, Holley
