Variations Week: Shanna's View

Hey everyone. Shanna here and it is one of my favorite weeks. All week long you have had the fun of seeing each design team member create with this wonderful image created by Regan Kubeck! The image is titled Thanksgiving Harvest.

I paired this image with some of the new Echo Park papers and colored the image with my copics. I also had some wonderful flowers to match and added those!

Now if you haven't checked out other posts make sure you go back and look at all the wonderful inspiration!

Variations Week: Holley's View

Now that you have seen all the wonderful Halloween images I could manage, let me toss in some beautiful Thanksgiving images.  This one is from Sweet Pea artist Regan Kubecek and is called Thanksgiving Harvest.  It is currently available as both a rubber stamp and a digi-stamp. I added some fun leaf and button embellishments with a large brad that says "cool & crisp" now if the South Texas weather would just realize that it's supposed to be Fall time!

Here's a close up of this image, she's so darling all dressed up with the bounty in her basket.

In addition, here's another wonderful Thanksgiving card stamp from artist Regan Kubecek.  This wonderful image is called Thanksgiving.  Be sure and check out the coloring on the original image, so you can see how different it looks here on my card.  I added some wonderful leaves from Recollections, some great pumpkin embellishments from Jolees and a Happy Thanksgiving Sentiment too!

Here's a close up of the actual image itself.
Hope you have enjoyed the image from Regan Kubecek today.  Be sure and check out all of her wonderful stamps at the Sweet Pea store.

Cheers, Holley

Variations Week: Danni's View

It's time for a fun feature that the Sweet Pea Stamps Designers do each month~ Variations Week. All the designers take the same stamp or collection of stamps and give their take on it. I LOVE this as it shows the versatility of the stamps!

This week we are showcasing Regan Kubecek's Thanksgiving Harvest stamp. You can find it in digi form~ HERE and in rubber stamp form~ HERE!

I colored the image with copics and then left the card fairly simple to really showcase the image. I used Basic Grey's Lucille papers with a few flowers and pearls to finish it off and now it's ready to make it's way into the mail to make someone smile!

Hope your week is simply fabulous!

Variations week : Viola's view

For variations week we are using Regan Kubecek's image called "Thanksgiving Harvest".  I knew I wanted to use warm colors and I found a zigzag pattern in some nice fall colors and built my copic palette around those colors.  I loved the Polka dot dress so I incorporated the colors into the dots.

I had a lot of fun with the image.  Here is a close up
I wish to share with all of you one of the things I am thankful for this year, it is this blog.  I have loved Sweet Pea stamps since I found them and I love being on this design team with all of these
wonderful, creative ladies.
I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.

Variations Week - Ali's View

It's Variations Week again here at Sweet Pea Stamps, where the Design Team all create with the same stamp. I love seeing how different one image can look in all the different projects. This month we are creating with Regan Kubecek's Thanksgiving Harvest:

I coloured this sweet image with my Promarkers and matted it onto white card:

I teamed my coloured image with some more of the gorgeous Autumn Song papers from Bo Bunny (these are just fabulous for autumn/fall themed projects) and a scrap of cheesecloth for a touch of texture:

To finish I cut some autumn leaves with my Cameo, inked them with Distress Inks and coated them with Glossy Accents, and added them around the image, along with a paper flower and a small charm:

This sweet stamp is available in digi or red rubber format from the Sweet Pea Stamps store and for this week only is available at a discounted price.

Variations Week: Aletha’s View

It’s Monday and I hope that all of you have had a great and creative weekend! It’s “Variation Week” here at Sweet Pea Stamps and we all got to create our own version using one of Regan Kubecek’s images. The image that was assigned to us all was “Thanksgiving Harvest.” I love the expressions on Ms. Kubecek’s illustrations. They are so sweet, warm, and inviting. You can find “Thanksgiving Harvest” in digital or rubber format, whichever medium you like.

I colored Thanksgiving Harvest with Copics and did some highlighting with Spicas and a white gel pen. My other supplies were designer paper, cardstock, paper flowers, some handmade Chrysanthemums, ribbon and lace, die cuts, and a couple of pearls. I will have more information on my blog, AJ’sDesigns, later this week.

Have you checked out our One Sweet Challenge? We have a fantastic theme for you this month. “It’s a Feast!” is your theme. For this challenge we would like to see your creation which focuses on one color, a particular embellishment, or lots of images of the same theme.

After you have entered the challenge, or you have created anything with a Sweet Pea Stamps Image, we would love for you to come join our Facebook group and share. Come “like” our page and you can keep up with all the happenings at Sweet Pea.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you visit every day this week and check out all the different views for Thanksgiving Harvest for the very talented and creative Sweet Pea Stamps Design Team.

Variations Week: Sylvia's View

Today it's variationsweek, that means... We all make the same sample in our own views.
This is a cute image from Regan Kubeck
called "Thanksgiving Harvest".

She is availble as a rubber stamp
and also as a digi

I colored this lovely girl with my distresspads.
I colored the basket with pumkins and the corn twice.
Than I cut it out and did a little 3-D.

The flowers are made from a Memory Box Die
and the leaves from Magnolia Doohicky.
I distressed the edges with Vintage Photo for a
soft and warm look.
In the center I added wooden buttons.
It almost looks like a sunflower to me.
Perfect for the Thanksgiving Harvest.!
I used some designpaper from my stash.
I distressed all with Walnut Stain.
I added some gemstones, and a cardboard sentiment.

I hope you like this one.

Variations Week: Allywhitecat's View

This is a image from one of the wonderfully talented artist at http://sweetpeastamps.com. Her name is Regan Kubecek. This adorable image is called Thanksgiving Harvest.
Regan is so very talented and her images are just beautiful.

Variations Week: Kym's View

All of this week over at Sweet Pea Stamps it is "Variations Week" where a specific artist is picked and the whole Design Team using the same image/selection of images.

For November the image chosen for us to be used is by Regan Kubecek and is called “Thanksgiving Harvest”.  This image is available as a digital stamp and a single rubber stamp.
I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers and some Graph’it pens (as I haven’t got a mix of all colours get for Graph’it pens).  I used a chalk ink pad around the image.
I’ve tried to take the photograph at an upwards angle to show that I have decoupaged the image up (it was the only way I could get it to show).  Decoupage was the first area I tried in cardmaking when I first started and I still like it and enjoy doing this technique with stamped images.  Yes I know it means colouring the edges of the bottom image as extra (because as the middle won’t show you don’t need to do that bit) but I think it is worth it.

I have then used a Tim Holtz leaf die and cut three different shaped leaves out of a book.  I then used Tim Holtz’s Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed and Crushed Olive distress inks and my Inkylicious brushes to colour the leaves.  The backing papers are from my stash.  I have finished the card off with an array of buttons and some twine.
*****************************
Here are some other Sweet Pea Stamps cards/creations I have to share with you this week.
There are times when we need sympathy/thinking of you cards.  I personally like to keep these kind of cards very clean and simple as I want the image and words to do the talking and I don't think it's the right time for lots of embellishments.

For my card I have used the Sweet Pea Stamps image called "Despair".  She is available as a digital stampsingle rubber stamp and as a multi-image plate (Sheet #7, Plate 205 - this image Despair comes on the plate with Broken Halo, Hope and To Bid you Farewell).

I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers/Flexmarkers and kept it to very neutral colours.  The backing paper I was given so don't know the source.  I have finished the card off with some ribbon, stamped sentiment, two flowers and pearls.
 *****************************
This is a card that I have made using a Sweet Pea Stamps image by Conie Fong.  It is called "Flowers on the Beach" and is available as a rubber stamp as well as a digital stamp.

Isn't she a cutie?  I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers/Flexmarkers and highlighted areas with my white gel pen and Stickles glitter glue.  I have used a handmade cloud mask and used my blue Pan Pastel and fine tool to add some clouds.

The backing papers I have used are Bearly Mine Designs The Boys Zone and Bearly Mine Designs Just Plaids.   I have finished the card off with a sentiment off the computer, gold card candi, gingham ribbon and handmade shells (these have been made with a silicone mould, tissue paper and Pan Pastels).
