Connie-Silent Woods

This gorgeous stamp is available over at

Her name is
"Silent Woods"
and she is available alone
or with other equally beautiful
images on plate 232

I colored her with my Distress markers
and layered her on some dp by Basic Grey
"Oxford" as well as
a pretty die by Cheery Lynn
"Polynesian Sails Oval"
I added some tiny pearls by Martha
and think that is enough.

What do YOU think?

Silent Woods

Here's a stunning Sweet Pea image from artist ching chou-kuik.  This girl is called Silent Woods (plate #232).  This stamp is just beautiful.  The whole set from Plate #232 is amazing. I added a great saying "Memories are the most beautiful pictures our minds can paint and nothing can ever erase them."  Be sure and check out the newest stamps from ching chou kuik at the store.
The emblossed paper here is from Bazzill.  It gives a great background for the card without adding too much depth.  The diecut frame comes from Spellbinders.  I chose this saying to go with the crying girl as memories (both happy and sad) can bring out the strongest emotions and make me cry.  So fitting for this stamp.

Have a wonderful craft-filled day!!

Cheers, Holley

Silent Woods

Hello everyone, hope you were able to spend some relaxing days over the Christmas days. The project I recently made is with another new image by the fabulous ching-chou kuik's. It is called 'Silent Woods' and is available on Plate # 232. She is available as a single stamp and Digi as well.

The image is coloured with Copics, and the background papers are from Maja Design 'Vintage Summer'.

Have a wonderful day now!
Hugs, Karina

Shabby Chic Ching Chou Kuik

I had already made a card for this week's Digi Wednesday... but then Lynette posted pictures of the new release of Ching Chou Kuik stamps (Plate #47) and I changed all my plans and started over again because I just HAD to have them! :)
You can pre-order (at a special reduced price!) these stunning images in red rubber format, but they are available as digi stamps right now! (Another reason why I love working with digi stamps). I decided to use the Silent Woods image:
Isn't she just beautiful? I fell in love with her on sight! :)
I went with a shabby chic colour scheme of pink, white and browns. I coloured the image with a mixture of Promarkers and Inktense pencils and used Paper Artsy papers, a Martha Stewart punch and Memory Box and Cheery Lyn dies.
I added some extra shabby chic glamour with Stampendous Frantage embossing powder, edging the picture with it and using it and some Frantage mica flakes to make a centre for my layered blossoms.

Have a lovely Wednesday - if anyone wants me, I'll be in my craft room colouring in more Ching Chou Kuik digi stamps!
