Amanita Muscaria and Summer Fun

Hi everyone. I am back with another card to share with you. For this card I used
Rachel Anderson's "Amanita Muscaria" at Sweet Pea Stamps. She can be purchased as a single or on sheet #2 Plate #111, with 3 other gorgeous fairies.

As soon as I went through my paper and found this Ambrosia DP by Basic Grey, I knew what colors I wanted to use on her. I love the vibrant and radiant feel of this card.

Her skin is a little darker in real life and not as washed out as the pictures show.

I added a lot of layers and dimension to this card.

Here are the supplies I used
Stamp: Rachel Anderson's Amanita Muscaria at Sweet Pea Stamps Sheet #2/ Plate #111
Paper: Basic Grey Ambrosia, black and red CS
Image was stamped on Mohawk Color Copy Brilliant white 100lb Cover CS
Ink: Memento Tuxedo
Accessories: Acetate frame trimmed on bronze (behind the image)
Spellbinder Border Die
Quickuts die
flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Orange self adhesive bling
Foam tape for dimension
White Sakura Gel pen
Image colored with copics

Here is another card I created last week. This image is Summer Fun by Caron Vinson at Sweet Pea Stamps. She can be bought as a single or on a sheet with 3 other adorable fairies Sheet #2 / Plate #89.
I used some DCWV DP, jewelry making shells and beads, Fiskars tear drops, spellbinder oval and flower dies, Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, fiskars border punch, chalk on background, glitter glue and glitter.

The image was colored with copics.

Check out Sweet Pea stamps and see what's new, so many new stamps to add to your wish list.

Masquerade Anyone????

Today I show another Caron Vinson's stamps called Fall Masquerade Fairy.  I decided to do her in bright colors and was thinking of Mardi Gras in New Orleans!!! I adore the style of this artist.  You can purchase this beauty at Sweet Pea Stamps. She can be bought as a single stamp or on a sheet with 3 others and a sentiment.

She is colored with copics and a bit of chalking as a background.  A thick layer of glitter on her wings and some stickles on her dress.  I spritz some glimmer mist on the corners and on the bow and feathers.  Do not know how it shows in the picture.  Gem stones finish the glitz and glam!!!  I hope you enjoy!

Moonlight Fairy.....Summer Fun....

I am here to show you another magnificent stamp from none other than SWEET PEA STAMPS.  I am so lucky to be part of the Sweet Pea family and be able to Kreate with such wonderful artists images.

Today I show another Caron Vinson's stamps called Moonlight Fairy.  I adore the innocence of this artist.  You can purchase this beauty at Sweet Pea Stamps. She can be bought as a single stamp or on a sheet with 3 others and a sentiment.

She once again was colored with copics and given a dusting of some spica pen glitter on her clothes, hair and the mushroom.  Her wings were glittered with some Art Institute Glitter.  I love how very fine their glitter is.  Double matted and popped up I then added 3 lovely flowers and leaves with yellow centers.  3 dew drops finished her look.  I enjoyed so Kreating with this stamp.  I hope you like it also.

I am also getting in the mood for some sunny weather and showing you a new stamp from Caron Vinson called Summer Fun!!!  You can purchase this beauty at Sweet Pea Stamps. She can be bought as a single stamp or on a sheet with 3 others and a sentiment.

I colored her with copics and added a bit of gloss and stickles to her dress and the sand.  Her wings were given a good dose of glitter!!  She is double matted and popped up.  I added ribbon and a bow with a palm tree charm to continue the theme.  If you like me are shoveling snow or facing bitter cold I hope she brought a bit of sunshine into your life.

Happy Valentines Day!!

Here's a wonderful stamp from artist Caron Vinson called Blushing Rose Fairy (Plate #89). I thought this beautiful woman would make a wonderful Valentine. You can see the artist's depiction and then see the coloring that I have done to her to make her into a Valentine.

I used some wonderful printed glittery cardstock from K&Company and spiced it up with some chalk on the edges. I added some adorable polka dot Prima flowers with some dark red bling and used one of the great vertical sayings from Plate #13 called Holiday Verticals. That stamp plate is only $12 and gives you 10 different full size vertical sayings! What a bargain. I trimmed mine out on thick white cardstock and used a border punch from EK Success to add some pizazz.

Hope you all have a Happy Valentine's Day!

Fairy Special Friends

I thought it would be fun to use two of the beautiful Caron Vinson images together. I was careful to face them together, but now that I'm done think they'd be pretty with their backs together too! I really gives the stamps a completely different look! I am really thrilled with how delicate their wings turned out! The image lines are so delicate...I was really determined to get the same look for their wings with glitter. Thanks for letting me share it with you!

Glam Goth Fairy

Hi everyone! :) For my card today, I decided to ink up this gorgeous new image illustrated by Caron Vinson for Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Glam Goth Fairy and I think she's beautiful! I truly love Caron Vinson's work, her images are truly a dream to color. I colored the image with copics and then sponged around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink using my Tim Holtz blending tool. Next I lightly added some Stardust Stickles to her wings. I then created my card base using SU cardstock. My DP is from DCWV (All Dressed Up Stack). This is definitely a different color scheme for me, but I really like how the blues and greens go together. For some finishing touches, I added pearls, a bow (tied with my Bow Easy) and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today. Thank you all so much as always for stopping by.

Big Hugs, Christine

Caron Vinson's Blushing Rose

This beautiful image is one of Caron Vinson's newest rubber creations. Called Blushing Rose, she can be found on plate 89.

Fall Masquerade Fairy

This is one of the newest images by Caron Vinson. The image is titled Fall Masquerade Fairy. It comes on a sheet with three other amazing images. It is so gorgeous that it is a complete joy to color.

I used some of my different glitter pens to color the wings and gold braclets. It gives them a wonderful shimmer without overpowering the image.

I hope you are enjoying all the new artists and stamps at Sweet Pea Stamps recently. I know that the DT certainly is LOVING them ALL!!!
