Forest Companion from Ching-Chou Kuik

Sylvia

Fall is coming...
And so are the toadstools!
Autumm brings such warm colors,
and those colors where my inspiration
for this card with the lovely image from
Ching-Chui Kuik
"Forest Companion".
She is availble as a rubberstamp or digi.

I colored this lovely Fairy with a little deer
with my distresspads and markers.
I wanted to give my image a little
flocky scene, so I used Frantage gold an ivory
to add some spickles on to it.

The backgroundpapers is made of aquarelpaper
with distress. I made the paper wet and layed
down the paper in the ink, so it flows on the paper.
Than I embossed it with a provocraft embossingsfolder
to give it a forest kind of background.
I used a red ribbon with white dots on it,
so it matches on the toadstools.
A wooden button and some raffia to give it a little woody image.

I find the colors realy warm and it gives the feeling of Autumm!
I hope you enjoy the Autumm as I do.
