Norma Burnell's Olivia and Peter

Hello and good morning everyone! Today I want to share with you another creation I made with one of the fabulous images by our new artist Norma J. Burnell. This one is 'Olivia and Peter'. I decided to colour her in a monochromatic style.

I coloured this beauty with Copics. The background papers are Prima. The sentiment in the right corner is self written by me.

Thank you so much for your visit. Check all the beautiful images by Norma J. Burnell at the Sweet Pea Stamps Shop. They are available in rubber.

Have a wonderful day now!
Hugs, Karina

  1. Just stunning, Karina!

She looks incredible coloured in a monochromatic colour scheme - and your colouring and shading is just amazing!!

Did you doodled the background around her too? It works so well and your handwritten sentiment is fabulous - wish my handwriting looked that nice! :)

  2. Hi Ali, thank you!! Yes, I made some doodling around the image and was really afraid to do. Didn't want the coloured image being destroyed when the doodling don't come out well. So I photocopied the image and tried out first before I made it onto the original :o).

  4. WOW, WOW, Karina, that coloring is just stunning in all blues. I love to see a monotone theme, and wow, to do it with the coloring. I usually only see that done in black and grey. This is amazing. Great work.
