A Gift for those with a Dark Side

This is a sampling of the domino set I decorated at my husband's request. I used Teresa Sherman's Skeletal Candle Holder  for the image. They are stamped in Black Staz-On and heat set. It is simple but doing a whole set of dominoes is still a bit time consuming. Sorry my pic is a bit blurry, sometimes I just can't hold the camera steady for anything.

  1. What can I say Jennifer? This seems truly macabre but also definitely a man's idea!!
They turned out well though, no smears or blurs, which is what I often get when trying this.

  2. Thanks Connie, you wouldn't believe the number of times I might stamp the same dom before getting one that I am satisfied with. Sandpaper is my best friend, ;-)

  3. What a great idea! And to use Teri's image is perfect! Wouldn't rubbing alcohol take the StazOn off instead of sandpaper? Or is that how you give the back of the domino tooth?

  4. Well done you Jennifer. Great idea but like you say staying inspired and enthusiastic is another thing!

  5. Too cool, I love skellies and see they are so popular now a days. I am thinking you could also get them drilled and make a bracelet out of them. Great idea. Holley

  7. Jennifer, those are really cool dominos! I used to have a terrible time taking pictures. I have a tremor in my hands that I was so lucky to inherit. I finally found a camera that you can hold the button about half way down before you click the shutter and it focuses the picture for you. What a blessing! Now I can take pictures that are sharp and clear. We have a SONY Cyber-shot with a 10x optical zoom and 25mm Wide-angle lens. It was pretty inexpensive and I LOVE it. It's pretty small too about 2 in tall and 3 in wide. I had given up on taking pictures until I got this camera. Just sayin... Have a great weekend.

  8. Wow!!! So Dark and so beautiful! I really love skulls!
I take all photos on art with my iPhone 4s, and an app named Genius Scan. I really love that app! It take perfect clear photos. My wife always took blurry photos before, but with that app she is a great photographer! Lol!
