Dead Sea

This stunning image is part of the Plate #234 by Rebecca Sinz and is called Dead Sea.  I absolutely love that it is so true to the original tales of mermaids.  They are the sirens of the sea and lure sailors to their death in the depths of the water.  This lovely is surrounded by the bounty of her conquests.

After coloring, including a couple of gold teeth in the skulls you can't really see, and adding stickles to the tail,  I matted and backed the image with a pattern paper from the Echo Park Love Story Collection.

Get Inky!
