Bess

I have always loved the image Plate #85 of fairy portraits drawn by Elaine Cox.  This is one of them and the image is called Bess.  I had such a wonderful time coloring her hair.  Once that was done, I realized that the majority of the image was colored!  I distressed the image and placed on a background paper from the Bazzill Miss Teagan Sue collection.

What are your favorite Sweet Pea Stamp images?  Can you actually pick just one?

  1. I love this image too and you've coloured her beautifully.. great shading on her hair and I love the blush of colour on her cheeks. :)

The paper is perfect with the colouring of the image and I love those little flowers and foliage - is that a die-cut?

I could never pick one favourite Sweet Pea Stamps image... I want them all!

  5. Alex, this is so cute! I love the Bess image, she is so much fun to color up :)
My absolute fav SPS stamp, must be ching-chou kuik's One and only Heart. I guess it is because it was my first SPS stamp, and the one that hooked me with those amazing images. But I must say: there are SOOOO many others I'm in love with, too ;)
