More to Share

Hi everyone. Today I have a card to share with you using one of ching chou kuik's  image called "Forest Companion".  You can find her as a single or on sheet #31, plate #110 with 3 other sweet images.
I used some BoBunny paper for my background.  The bird and decorative label are from Colorbok.  I colored the image with copics and cut her out.  I then added some beautiful ruffle trim lace and added some pop dots behind the image and the bird for that extra dimension.

Oh don't look too close as I forgot to color her eyes and lips.  Oh well maybe no one will notice, but they will now as I told on myself.

Here is a side view that shows some of the dimension to the card.

Here is my second card using an image by our featured artist over on the store... Rachel Anderson.
I used "Queen of Hearts" , you can find her as a single or on sheet #4, Plate #201.
Adjust your eyes because this red will pop out at you.
I used these red copics to color the whole image.
R35,R37,R59,RV99, RV25, RV23 and the darkest shadows I used W9

I used some Valentine's paper, some big buttons, Queen of heart card, 2 different Memory box dies and a Spellbinder die to frame the image.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

Hugs:)
Angela

Your "bird" works is grand as well, I love that attention to detail that is yours with the subtle tinge of red edge to the lace trim.....

  7. Angela, these are both so pretty and SO different! Love the reds and all the depth you got with them. However, I most love Forest Companion. Wonderful coloring of the dear and the vintage feel and lace are perfect.

  9. Great dimension the first card. I love the layering and hearts on the second. Beautiful coloring on both! I would have thought the lack of coloring on the lips and eyes was deliberate if you had not said something!
