'Christmas Angel' Christmas cards - Tera

 Hallo,
  As time ran down to the wire and I was running out of time making my Christmas cards once again, I looked for quick and pretty ideas for my cards.
  Here is one batch that I did last year using Karen Middleton's 'Christmas Angel'.
  I colored her several different ways with prismacolor pencils and then cut her out with a die and edged that panel with a gold metallic pen.
  I layered her to a base cardstock that I embossed with a 'Merry Christmas' folder and then added some touches of glitter.
  I had fun with this sweet image trying out different ways to color her up :)

Hello SPS fans,

Today its my turn..

Couple of weeks ago i joined a workshop with Bister. Ofcourse i couldnt walk out the shop without some jars

And i decide to make a card with this beautiful stuff

I keep my card little CAS and used this little cute dragon from Elisabeth Bell Little Peppermint Puff

I colored him with my distress markers

Hello Tuesday, oh wow the time really flies by so fast Spring is here WHOOHOO really happy about that as I am so done with the cold winter weather. I need Sunshine so I can take my photo's outside again in my garden.... guess that will have to wait for a while as nothing much is in bloom yet....

So here is one of my early morning colourings that I did with Aqua Promarkers. This is Sweet Mermaid by Melissa Stevens... One of our new rubberstamp artists...

And this is the card that I created with her. The papers I used are by Maja Designs sooo pretty.

I cut the dies that I used out of watercolouringpaper so the flowers are also coloured with Aqua Promarkers.

Do Your Own Thing, Jane's view

Sweet Pea Stamps

Today is my day to showcase and image from Sweet Pea Stamps and I have chosen to work with the stunning new image in the store - Do Your Own Thing by Lynne Stansbery which is available from the Sweet Pea Store as a digi.  The image comes with the wonderful sentiment too :)

I have really messed up here, it is not like me to not take lots of photos as I am going along but today I only took two and neither one is worth adding to the blog.  I hope you will forgive me:)

For this card I used a very soft pink pearl card base which I cut to my usual 140cm square size then trimmed down so I could incorporate and over the edge lacy top using the Marianne Designs Creatables Anjas Vintage Decoration which I then embossed the section which was not part of the cut out, this formed my first matting layer.  The base layer of my card was covered with pink lace.  I then spent the next 4 hours or so colouring in.  I really did have issues here, should I just colour the background, skin and hair of the dancers and leave the rest uncoloured as this image is so beautifully drawn and shaded or should I colour with something a bit different, I really did not want to do pink.  With having the dark skinned child in the quartet whatever colour used had to work with browns, that left me with turquoise as my first option or maybe yellows which I am not keen on.  I don't think I have coloured anything in peach before so, with fingers and toes crossed, this was the route I took.  Not sure If I really like the outcome but I don't dislike it either hahahaha.  Chocolate brown was used to as the contrasting colour for the flourishes, mount behind the sentiment, bow and Stickles.  I also added two bronze metal butterflies and a sweet wee shoe which sort of looks like a ballet pump.

• Dies - Marianne Designs Creatables Anjas Vintage Decoration, Spellbinders Ovals, Scalloped Ovals and Spellbinders Floral Flourishes
• From my Stash - Stickles, metal butterflies, shoe charm, ribbon and lace

Today I'd like to share with you a project I've made featuring one of the gorgeous image by The East Wind, which you can now get in both digital and rubber stamp format in the Sweet Pea Stamp Store.  I chose to get a little Steampunky with 'Lucy Loo - Voyager II'

Weekly Inspirations With Nataliya

Rockin and shakin - Valentines Day shaker card - Tera

 Hallo,
   I have for you today a very Quick and easy little shaker card.
  The main image is called 'Rock My World' by Amanda S  Bryon and is colored with prismacolor pencils. This is such a fun image to work with - I will probably be making a few more shaker cards with this image!!! This image is a Rubber stamp BTW.
  I used a die cut for the shaker card with a clear plastic sheet for the hole and some clear beads and foil hearts for the shakies.
  I decorated the outside with rows of red rhinestones and some glittered foam hearts.
