This is one of Samantha Rawling's adorable images called Dragonfly Girl - she can be found on plate #125, along with three other equally cute images. The kite is just a hand cut shape I added - once I had the image down on the paper I just knew it was my youngest child flying a kite.

Fairyland
When I saw those enchanting images of the Rachel Andersons Collection I fell in love with them immediately. They are so sweet and magical. When I coloured them I even thought to be very gentle to not disturb those sweet little fairies...
The image of my first creation is called 'Sweet Dreams'. The second one is called 'Lily of the Valley'. They both are on plate 95 together with two more awesome images. You can get them as single stamps as well.
Here on my first card I used DP of 7gypsies and Kaisercraft. The flowers are from Wild Orchid and the lace, ribbon and blings are from my stack. As mostly I coloured her with Distress Inks on 300 g watercolour paper.
On my second creation I used DP from Prima 'Annalee Collection'. Flowers are from Wild Orchid. The lace I found on the fleamarket.
Here on this card I tried out two things new to me. First I used some mulberry paper for framing the image. I tore it in stripes and drape it to the back of the image. I love the way it looks and I am sure it was not the last time I did it.
And second I put some beads in different green colours and pearls to a thin wire and formed it to leafs. I think this looks quite nice as well.
Thank you so much for looking. Wish everyone a magical day. And... there just have been the release of the second sheet of the Rachel Andersons Collection with more beautiful fairy images. Take a look at them at Sweet Pea Stamps.
Hugs, Karina

A Little Mermaid Tutorial Surprise.
Stamp: Elaine Cox's Little Seahorses Mermaid Hello everyone!! Wow, it feels like ages since I've posted. I've missed everyone! And, now I'm back and loving all the new artists and team members! Such amazing talent.
Since I haven't done one in so very long, I decided I would have a surprise mini tutorial for you today with one of my all time favs by Elaine Cox....
Cardstock: Neenah Classic Crest Natural White
Copic Markers: listed
{click on photos for a larger view}
For the little flowers I used a teeny bit of BV02 & V05 in the very center and then went over it with the Colorless Blender to have them bleed out slightly to give them a soft watercolor appearance.
G20 Wax White, is one of my favs. It brightens up your greens without being too bright or too washed out.
Too keep things from being to flat, I like to use shadows like E71 blended out with E70. You can see where I used this technique on her hair where it frames the back of her head. And for around her eyes I used BV02 blended out with BV000. The key with this is to have a very light hand. For her eyes I used E30 and E33. Leave some of the E30 showing for highlight.
I added a touch of E35 at the very top of her irises...where they meet the top of her eyelid. This gives them more depth. For my finished card I added some Lemon Ice Stickles to some random strands of her hair. The background is colored in with a light wash of G20 and I outlined her with E71 so that she didn't blend into the background too much.
Thanks for stopping by!! Please let me now if you have any questions.

I love all things crafty. Stamps and Scrapbooking are on the top of my list. I hope to share some of my love's in life with others. And to know that I'm not the only obsessed crafter out there. I have been married to my husband Bill for over 11 years. I have three children; my daughter Destiny(18),Son Bailey(11) and my youngest Jazmine(7).
Dryad Bride
I tried to stay with creamy wedding colors.
Here is the inside of the card. I usually stamp and put all my sentiments on the inside but rarely ever take pic's of the inside of my cards. So this time I remembered to take a pic.

I adore you
Today I made a quite simple card using Cheshire cat illusion from plate 41. It's another one of those images that is included if you want to participate in our Alice in wonderland/little red riding hood contest. I used the same colours and papers that I used for my Mad tea party in a box. Since this card is a bit smaller than standard size it would be great to use as a gift card with the box.
The image is coloured with promarkers, the text is handwritten and inked with a distress ink.
