I Love You More

For my card today, I decided to use this gorgeous new image illustrated by Meredith Dillman for Sweet Pea Stamps. You can see her beautiful work HERE. I love this image, it's so flowy and romantic. I decided to create a little "I love you" card for my hubby (I know, the card is very girly, I stink at making masculine cards so all of my husband's cards are very girly :) He loves them anyway though :) ). I colored this gorgeous image with copics and then sponged around the image with my Tim Holtz blending tool using SU's Pretty in Pink ink. I then added some Stardust Stickles to her wings. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from MME. I used a Martha Stewart border punch on the top piece of DP. For some finishing touches, I added pearls, a bow (tied with my Bow Easy) and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The beautiful sentiment is from the "You Had Me at Chocolate" stamp set from My Creative Time. What do you think?

Glam Goth Fairy

Hi everyone! :) For my card today, I decided to ink up this gorgeous new image illustrated by Caron Vinson for Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is called Glam Goth Fairy and I think she's beautiful! I truly love Caron Vinson's work, her images are truly a dream to color. I colored the image with copics and then sponged around the image with SU's Bashful Blue ink using my Tim Holtz blending tool. Next I lightly added some Stardust Stickles to her wings. I then created my card base using SU cardstock. My DP is from DCWV (All Dressed Up Stack). This is definitely a different color scheme for me, but I really like how the blues and greens go together. For some finishing touches, I added pearls, a bow (tied with my Bow Easy) and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock (Rose Red and Not Quite Navy). My DP is from MME and I used a Martha Stewart border punch on the top panel of DP. For some finishing touches, I added a bow (tied with my Bow Easy), dew drops, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Moon Marsh Mermaid

Hi everyone :) For my card today, I decided to ink up this gorgeous image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image was illustrated by the fabulous Elaine Cox and is called Moon Marsh Mermaid. I think she's just gorgeous and I had so much fun coloring her up. I colored the image with copics and then sponged around the top of the image lightly with SU's Pretty in Pink ink. Next I added some Stardust Stickles to her tail and to the lilly pads and then I added some small pearls to her hair. I next created my card base using SU cardstock. My DP is from MME. For some finishing touches, I added a bow (tied with my Bow Easy) and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Make Believe

Caron Vinson's Blue Fairy

Hi everyone :) I'm so excited to share my card with you today. Lynette, the owner of Sweet Pea Stamps has added some incredible new artists to her stamp designs. This particular image is illustrated by the amazing Caron Vinson. I LOVE her illustrations, they are absolutely gorgeous! This particular image is called Blue Fairy (of course, I didn't color mine blue :) ). I colored my image with copics. I then sponged around my image lightly with purple ink using my Tim Holtz blending tool. Next I added some Stardust Stickles to her wings and some purple glitter from my purple glitter Sakura gel pen to her bracelets. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. The yummy DP is from DCWV (love this paper!). For some finishing touches, I added pearls, Primas, roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, and a butterfly, which was made by Prima (I got it at Michael's). New Sweet Pea Stamps Release - Atlantis Bower Mermaid

Isn't this new image by Elaine Cox absolutely gorgeous?!?! I just love this image. She is called Atlantis Bower Mermaid and you can find her HERE. I colored the image with copics and then I used my SU ticket corner punch on the corners. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from DCWV. Bubble Bubble

Hi everyone :) For my card today, I decided to ink up this adorable image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This particular image is illustrated by Elaine Cox and you can find it HERE. Isn't she cute? I colored the image with copics and then added Glossy Accents to the liquid in the cauldron and the bubbles (this is hard to see in the photos). Once the Glossy Accents was dry, I added some Stardust Stickles to the bubbles as well. I also added stickles to the fire. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from MME and Cosmo Cricket. I also added an orange ribbon and a double looped bow (tied with my bow easy). For some finishing touches, I added a Prima flower, and a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Twilight Halloween

Starry Halloween

Hi everyone :) When I saw this new image illustrated by Elaine Cox for Sweet Pea Stamps, I was so excited! This image is SO beautiful and SO much fun to color. It stamps beautifully too. The image is called Starry Halloween. I first stamped the image on Neenah white cardstock and then colored the image with copics (e-mail me if you want the list, I used a lot!). I added some Stardust Stickles to the stars in the sky and I added some Glossy Accents to the owl's eyes (this is hard to see in the pictures, but it really gives a nice, fun effect). Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from DCWV (the new Halloween stack, I got mine at JoAnn's). For some finishing touches, I added some purple Offrey ribbon (last weekend I went to the Offrey outlet in Hagerstown and got probably 20 pounds of ribbon for less than $20 . . . such a fun trip!) :). I also added some pearls and some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

A Sweet Pea Halloween

Hi everyone :) I felt in the Halloween mood yesterday when I was working on this card. Sweet Pea Stamps has some awesome Halloween images. For my card, I used an image called Exotic Halloween. I had so much fun coloring this one. I colored the image with copics, and then added some Stardust Stickles to the pumpkins. It's a little hard to see in the picture, but I added Glossy Accents to the light from the candles to give it a shine/glow. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. My DP is from DCWV (I just found it at JoAnn's last weekend). For some finishing touches, I added pearls, a bow, rhinestones, and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. What do you think?

Moonlight Siren

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! :) I hope you are all having a wonderful day and a wonderful week. Things are crazy busy here as usual, but I can't complain :) For my card today, I just had to ink up another new image from Sweet Pea Stamps. This one is illustrated by the fabulous ching chou kuik and is called Moonlight Siren (I made mine a "daylight" siren) :) I colored the image with copics and then added lots of Star Dust Stickles to the butterflies, her shawl, and the waves of the water. Next I created my card base out of SU cardstock. The design paper is by Kaisercraft (Gypsy Sisters collection). The sentiment is also from Sweet Pea Stamps.
