Here is a card I have made using a Sweet Pea Stamps image by Ching-Chou Kuik called "Iris Grace". This image is available as a digital stamp, single rubber stamp and as part of a multi-image plate (Sheet 53, Plate 248 - Iris Grace comes on the multi-image sheet with Tropical Queen, Bird of Paradise and Sparkling Angel).
The image I have coloured in with Promarkers/Flexmarkers, highlighted areas with my Sakura Stardust clear pen and distressed around with Tim Holtz's Brushed Corduroy distress ink.
I used a Spellbinders scalloped circle to cut the aperture out of the front of the card. I then cut out the same shape from a piece of corrugated brown card. It took a few times to get it to cut as it was quite thick but it did it in the end. I then painted the die-cut shape with some acrylic paint and then distressed.
The backing papers I have used in conjunction with kraft card are from the Polkadoodles Double Sprinkles of Kraft Cd-Rom. The the papers/embellishments have been distressed with Tim Holtz's Brushed Corduroy distress ink. The card has been finished off with various die-cut shaped, peel-off sentiment and flowers with peel-off circle centres.
