Valentines 'Emotive' - Marlon Teunissen - Tera

 Hallo,
I have a Valentines Day shaker card for you today. I used this sweet and sexy image from Marlon Teunissen called  'Emotive' and colored her with prismacolor pencils. Thie sweet image is available both as a rubber stamp and as a digi.
I used a die cut for the card which makes it very easy as it is cut and scored and ready to go - just glue the sides, add a clear plastic sheet to the cut out, add some shakies (in this case some clear beads and small red foil hearts) and seal the top.
I decorated the outside with rows of red rhinestones and glittered foam hearts.
Fun and easy to do and I hope my DH will enjoy her for his Valentines Day card :)
   Take Care

Cold

This beautiful winter image comes from Sweet Pea artist Marlon Teunissen and is called Cold.  She's available as a rubber stamp as well as a digital image.   I am using a shimmery flocked paper in the background with a combination of blue/brown paper for winter theme.  Here's the sentiment I added "Live in a way to make happy memories."  I love how she looks so lost in thought.  Also note that she definitely has some steampunk theme given her hat jewel and coat embellishments.

Here's a closeup of the image itself

Here's a sweet bonus project I did, a quick and cute birthday card for my niece Desi, who turns 18 today!  I am using one of the Veritcal Sentiment stamps from Sweet Pea stamps and an adorable angel stamp from artist Karen Middleton. This gorgeous angel is called Blue Star Angel. She was just perfect for my niece.

I hope you liked these sweet CAS (Clean and Simple) cards today!

Definitely drop by the Sweet Pea store and check out all the gorgeous images from this artist.  Also, drop by our Sweet Pea Stamps Friends and Fans page to share your gorgeous creations with us. We have regular contests there with wonderful prizes, regular coupons and lots of fun!

Cold

Actually it's warming up a bit here from the frigid temps we were having--still in the 30's but that's a heck of a lot warmer than the single digits--but that's not what the title of this post is referring too! It's the name of this gorgeous stamp from Marlon Teunissen for Sweet Pea Stamps.

You can find Cold in digi form~ HERE and in rubber stamp form~ HERE! and also on Sheet 1, Plate 220~HERE!

I used the digi for my card. She is colored with copics and then paired with Basic Grey's Jovial papers. A few pearls and a few touches with a copic glitter pen finish the card.

Hope you stay warm where ever you are!! and have a very Merry Christmas filled with lots of magic and happiness!

Steampunk Angel

Here's a wonderful stamp from artist Marlon Teunissen of Sweet Pea stamps.  This image is called Steam Angel.  Isn't she gorgeous? She is sold individually and on Plate #239.  I am using all warm greys W0-W9 to color her outfit and her wings for this image.  I think she looks stunning.  Be sure and compare my final image with the artist's coloring so you can see just how different they are.

Here's a closeup of my image:
It's very subtle, but I also love to give this woman grey colored eyes.

Be sure and check out all of this artist's wonderful steampunk type images at the Sweet Pea stamps store. They are now selling both in rubber and digital format.

Cheers, Holley

Ice Queen

I am in a "Christmas card making mood", spring has not come to my part of Norway yet and it's really cold at night, the snow is still here too, not strange I have a bit Christmas feeling!:-)
For this Christmas card have I used Marion Teunissen's Ice Queen, it is available as both DIGI & RUBBER.
I have colored with Promarkes and Flexmarkers, and the flowers and leaves have I painted with perfect pearl powder and water, all to get the snowy winter feeling!

Come Fly With Me...

I love the artwork of Marlon Teunissen, one of the newest additions to the talented stable of Sweet Pea Stamps artists. Her style is kind of manga and kind of steampunk, two styles that I really like.
So I just had to have a play with one of her newest images, called The Pilot:
I went all out with the steampunk style on this card, with motifs of clocks and cogs and lots of metallic effects. I coloured the image with Promarkers and cut it out with a Spellbinders die, embossing and inking the edges, and matting it onto bronze coloured card:
I cut a cog design overlay from more bronze coloured card using my Cameo and added a patchy rust effect with Distress Embossing Powder before layering it over patterned paper. I mounted the image on foam tape and added some detail with a copper coloured Perlen Pen and some Glossy Accents:
I added decoration with some layered paper flowers, a metal flower centrepiece and some die-cut leafy flourishes which I heat embossed with copper coloured embossing powder...
..and to finish I cut a sentiment with my Cameo and also heat embossed it with copper embossing powder before attaching:

Steampunk, yet still pretty and feminine, I think? :)

MARLON TEUNISSEN

For today's project I thought I would use these fabulous stamps from MARLON TEUNISSEN'S COLLECTION to create a PASSPORT cover.

The stamps are available singularly or as a plate here.

The Pilot
Steam Angel

To make this cover I used an empty Cereal box, covered both sides and then used a sewing machine to edge.  Unfortunately I didn't check the stitches before starting so the stitching isn't set on the proper tension but the effect is OK.

I then finished colouring the images and cut the die cut shapes - having another mishap - the die slipped whilst embossing but again I quite liked the effect!

To strengthen the spine I gilded and decorated with PVA glue faux pearls.  I decided not to add too many embellishments as I wanted the cover to remain quite flat.

Further details can be found on my blog here.

Best wishes,
