Irish Chic

Hi Suzanne here with my first DT project for Sweet Pea Stamps, I am so excited.

I thought as St Patricks Day was only a couple of days ago I would share this fabulous image by Joanne Schempp, Irish Chic. You can find her here both in rubber and digi format.

I  have used Copics to colour and some Wink of Stella pens.  Added some flowers from my stash, green cardstock and DP.

Last of all some sequins for a bit of sparkle.

Karina's View of Irish Chic

Hello everyone, well... this is the last card I am showing here as a DT member. My time as part of the team is coming to an end, but I still love all those gorgeous images of Sweet Pea Stamps and definitely will continue to create with them. 

Today I show you my view of the gorgeous 'Irish Chic' by the great artist Joanne Schempp. This beauty is available as rubber and as a digital image too.

I colored her with Copics and the papers I used for my card are left overs.

Thank you so much for looking. At this place I want to say a BIG thank you to wonderful Lynette, owner of Sweet Pea Stamps, for having me in her team for a long time. I had so much fun all the time to create with all the gorgeousness she haves in her shop.

Today it's my turn to show you my view on

I colored this Irish Chic girl with Promarkers.

I added some glossy accents on the clovers and her glasses.

I cut the image with a Spellbinders Oval and distressed around it.

Also I stamped a swirl on the image and the design paper.

The flowers I made with a Crealies Die.

The green swirls was given by a special friend.

I colored this gorgeous stamp in with my distresspads.

I added some sparkles on the tail and her bikini.

The design papers are from Bo Bunny.

The gemstones are from a local store.

St Patrick's day is on the way!

Here's a perfect stamp for St Patrick's Day, which is March 17th, this is Joanne Schempp's Irish Chic. I do so love this image for the holiday, I had to make a mono-tone green theme card for the occasion and add some green clover buttons and shimmery green die cut borders.  St Patricks day also reminds me much of parades, so I added a fun sentiment flag, "Don't Rain on my parade"

Kym's Weekly Post - Sunday 2/2/14

February is here and therefore it is time for another challenge over at the One Sweet Challenge Blog. The topic for this month is "love" so this could be Valentine's Day, wedding, anniversary or anything that means "love".

For my card I have used the Sweet Pea Stamps image by Joanne Schempp called "Lil Demon". It is available as a digital stamp and a rubber stamp. 

I have coloured the image in with Graph'it pens and then inked around the edge with various flower and hearts small stamps. The backing papers are from Summertime Designs. I have finished the card off with some satin ribbon, some white paper flowers which I have inked with Tim Holtz's Fired Brick distress ink, gems and some little wooden circles that I have coloured with my Graph'it pens and added peel-offs to make the word "love".

Here is another card I have to share with you today.

At the moment in the Sweet Pea Stamps Shop there is a Digi Sale on Easter, St Patrick's Day and Steampunk images whereby you get 20% off.

Here is a card I have made using Joanne Schempp's image called "Irish Chic". It is available as a digital stamp (and as mentioned above it's got 20% off at the moment) and as a rubber stamp.

I wanted to keep the colour scheme to green so used my Promarkers as I have virtually all of the greens. I have inked around the edge with Tim Holtz's Peeler Paint distress ink and layered the image onto a tag. I made the four leaf clover template myself and then drew around it onto the papers I printed out from Bearly Mine Designs from the Mini Dots Collection and the Boy's Zone. 

Around the crumpled paper layer I distressed with a pair of scissors as my Tim Holtz couldn't get into all the nooks and crannies. I have used a Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die for the large and small flowers which I have cut out from a book and coloured with my Bright Green and Grass Promarkers.

I have finished the card off with some fibres, card candi, sentiment, buttons, pearl dots, cheesecloth, pearls and a charm with memory wire threaded through.

Variations Week: Jennifer's View

Lately I have been on a simple kick, many times if you wish to send a friend a handmade card the post office will have a fit if they feel any little lump. Having to stop in to drop it off also takes a lot of fun out of an otherwise wonderful thought.

I love this image, it is so playful and with a bit of cutting you can use it for many other occasions.

Variations Week: Holley's View

Here's an awesome image from Sweet Pea artist Joanne Schempp called Irish Chic, I have made this card for variations week during which all the design team is showing different cards using the same stamp.  I just love this girl!  I also added a perfect sentiment from the Simply Verticals Holiday Plate (plate #13).

Variations Week - Randi's View

Hello Sweet Pea lovers!

It's Variations Week again, and this week we've been playing with the supercool image Irish Chic by the artist Joanne Schempp. 
I'm not usually playing with digis, but this week I have. You will see that I've been making a really different card from what I usually do - no coloring this time! And in fact, I've made a tag card this time.
I find it real fun to do some "crazy" and different things with my card sometimes. 
For my tag card I've been making my own background papers, using Glossy Papers, Distress Inks and water. The image is printed on Vellum papers, and I've added stickles on some details. I've also added different ribbons: Tim Holtz's film strip ribbons, Washi Tape ribbons and Hug Snug Seam Binding ribbons (which I have colored myself with Distress Inks and water)
I've also added a charm, some flowers and buttons. 
In the end, I sprayed Perfect Pearls Mist on top of the tag, to get a shimmering look. 
Because of all the glittering in the card, it was a bit hard to get good pictures, but anyways: here are some pics of my tag!

Variations Week: Nataliya's View

 Hi all. It's time for Variations Week at Sweet Pea Stamps. This week we all on DT showcasing beautiful image by Joanne Schempp "Irish Chic". Here is mine point of View.

 I colored image with mix of Copic, Prisma Pencils and Distress ink for the background.  For her glasses i used Glossy Accents to make them look real. Also i used Green Stickles and Spica Pen. After i colored image i cut it out with a Die. For the backing Paper from SU i used Clear stamp "Good luck" and embossed with Gold embossing Powder. Looks very "Gold" lol and goes good with my Gold Ribbon.

Variations Week: Ali's View

I love this fun and funky image by Joanne Schempp - it's just perfect for a St Patrick's Day card:

I went with traditional colours of green and gold/orange for my card. I coloured the image with Promarkers...

...and added some highlights with Stickles:

I carried the colour scheme through into the backing papers, adding gold mirri card for a bit of extra shimmer and shine. I made the greeting on my computer (it's Irish Gaelic for "St Patrick's Day Blessings") and finished things off with some paper flowers, die-cut leaves and beaded stems.

Happy St Patrick's Day!

Here's a stunning Sweet Pea image from artist Anna Marine called Trick Me Once (Plate #141). It's just perfect for St Patrick's Day. I know my husband would love this card. It comes on a great assorted sheet for spring themed holiday stamps. I added some wonderful die cut flourishes with leaves and flowers for early springtime. I hope you will check out all the stamps for St Patrick's day in the store. Get your green on!

Here's one of the newest stamps that just came out and she's a real keeper! She's designed by artist Joanne Schempp and her name is Irish Chic (see here). Isn't she just adorable? I think this stamp as some real attitude and would be great for all kinds of cards.

THE LUCK OF THE IRISH

For those of you that saw my Dusty Rose card last week - this is the other one I did using the same coloured copic pens and aqua papers.  This gorgeous stamp is one of my  latest favourites I loved this the minute I saw it.  I originally wanted to do a totally different colour scheme to shown how versatile she is but I'm glad I didn't after all as I really like the way it's turned out.  I don't know am I allow to say that!
