Tummy Time

Good Day all. Here is mine DT card at Sweet Pea Stamps. Really simple but cute card for a little Girl. This super adorable image Tummy Time by Elisabeth Bell, and you can find it HERE. I colored image with Distress Inks and added Glitter to the centers of the flowers, then Die Cut.

For the pink Background i used Cricut and added Dew drops around. Also i used stamps and Dies to create this Rose. For the leaves i used MS punch.

To finish my card i added Ribbon and some swirls Die cuts.

Wonderful images from Elisabeth Bell

Don't you just love Elisabeth Bell? If ever there is an artist whose images you can immediately pick out, hers are definitely one of them. I can look at some wonderful stamps and I just KNOW they are by Elisabeth Bell before I even see her name.  This cutie is one of them.  She's a gorgeous Sweet Pea stamp called Tummy Time.  I have colored her up for summer and put her on a wonderful monotone card with all pinks.

I am also using a Sweet Pea saying "Have a magical day" from Plate #21.  That's just a perfect sentiment for this little girl.  I added lots of gorgeous pink embellishements, I think lots of little girls just love their pinks.

In addition let me share this quick and easy summer themed card using a beautiful mermaid.  I did this card  for a family member who lives down by the coast.  This cutie is just sweet as can be.  She's called Oceanessa Mermaid.  She's just adorable with her seahorse friend so I colored her up and found the perfect matching shimmery papers in two shades of teal and oranges to go with her.

You wouldn't think so, but don't teal and orange go well together?  They are opposite on the color wheel, so they are called complementary colors.  Probably not the colors one would immediately think to throw together, but they actually do work.  Next time you are looking for a new color combo to try, pull out your color wheel and pick colors on the opposite side of each other.
