Variations Week: Alex's View

I have to admit this is my second attempt with Hello Birdie by Valerie Wade.  The first one was not only not very pretty, it was downright round file material, and promptly filed.  It had nothing to do with the image as I find this one just adorable.  Apparently my creative brain is out sick with the rest of my body.  Sometimes a fever helps, but apparently not this time.  However, I am loving this one!  Hello Birdie is such a cheerful image and I know anything made with it would certainly brighten someone's day.

Get Inky!
Alex

Variations Week: Holley's View

Here's a fun image from Sweet Pea artist Valarie Wade called Hello Birdie.  This week every designer at Sweet Pea is using this stamp and creating a card with it to show many different creations with the same image.  What a great way to showcase it. I am using some glazed paper from Bazzill embellished with some birds and other bling.
I love these weeks that we have been having to show different uses of the same design.  I hope all the blog followers are loving it too!  Today is my Birthday so I am off to celebrate.  I wish all of you a great weekend.  Be sure to check out the stamp store.  I know rubber stamps are at the top of my wish list this year.

Cheers, Holley

Variations Week: Ali's View

This week's Variations image is the adorable Hello Birdie by Valerie Wade.
As mum to two little girls I thought this sweet image would be perfect for a card for a little girl so I went with a pretty pastels colour scheme:

I coloured the image with Promarkers and used some pretty HOTP papers that came free with a magazine:

I layered the papers with border punched (using a Martha Stewart punch) cardstock and finished things off with flowers and some little birds cut with my Cameo.

You can buy this fabulous image in both red rubber and digi format at the Sweet Pea Stamps store. :)

Variations Week: Nataliya's View

Hello Girls and Boys (?). Here is my card shaped as a Bird House for Sweet Pea Stamps. I love Variation Week, so you can see how different cards looks from each Designer.
Don't you think this image is absolutely gorgeous?? I think so! Image call Hello Birdie by Valarie Wade, and you can find it HERE. For my card i used Digital Image, and colored with Pencils and Markers
I used Gold Embossing Powder to emboss Bird Cage, and added little Bird House Button. Made my own Flowers. Also used Die Cut for the Leafs and Punch border.
On the Top of the card i used Die cut and Stamped with Clear stamp sentiment "Hello Friend". On the very bottom of my card i added Lace. Shape of the card i cut out on Cricut. I know my Baby Girl love this card, and i hope you do too. As always don't forget to check Shop for more new Digis at Sweet Pea Stamps.
Thank you for your comments.
Hugs Nataliya

Variations Week: Randi's View

Today it's my turn to show you a card made with the gorgeous Valarie Wade image, named Hello Birdie.
I just love this little girlie with the birdie on her hat :)

But I have to tell: I don't feel too comfortable with how the coloring turned out... I usually only color up rubberstamps, since I use Distress reinkers as color medium. But because it takes some time for rubberstamps to get from America to Norway, I had to color up a digi image instead this time. And WOW, I've had really much trouble to get a good result!!
I've tried like a billion different tips to get an okey result. But I think maybe it all comes down to the printer I'm using. Whatever I did, I could not get the image stop bleeding while coloring. Well.... anyway: Here's my how my card ended up!!

Hugs, Randi
