Kym's Weekly Post

Here is a card I have made using a Sweet Pea Stamps image by Ching-Chou Kuik called "One and only heart". It is available as a digital stamp and rubber stamp

I have coloured the image in with my Graph'it pens. The backing papers are from Summertime Designs. The flowers I have made from die-cutting flowers shapes from a book and then colouring the die-cuts with my Graph'it pens. I have inked around the edge of the layers with my Tim Holtz's Black Soot distress ink to keep in with the pink and black colour scheme.

I have finished the card off with some raffia ribbon, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiments and some pearls.

Yes I know Christmas has come-and-gone for 2013 but I am determined to be more organised for 2014 so here is a card I have made using a Sweet Pea Stamps image by Ching-Chou Kuik called "Cherish Christmas". It is available as a digital stamp, and a single rubber stamp.
I have coloured my image in with my Graph'it pens. The backing papers I was given. I have finished the card off with a sentiment off the Perfect Companions Christmas CD, poinsettias, washi tape and pearls.

It's time for the November challenge! "It's a Feast"

It's time for a new challenge!
One Sweet Challenge at Sweet Pea Stampers,
and this time the theme is:
"It's a Feast!"

I took one of the Ching-Chou Kuik's Rubber Stamp called:
"One and Only Heart".

This gorgeous stamp is availble as a single rubber stamp,
but also availble as a sheet # 24, plate 68
with 2 lovely sentiments stamps:
"Happy Valentines Day
and
"If I had a single flower for everytime I think about you
I could walk forever in my garden"

This stamp is also availble as a digi:

I colored her in with distresspads.
And added some sparkles with some glitters.
Than I embossed the image with Clear embossingspowder.
I added 3 layers for a smooth look.
I decided to give it a little vintage look.
So I put the image in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
After I took it out of the freezer I cracked it.
I distressed the cracks with distresspad Walnut Stain.
It looks old right now.

The base of the card is Kraft cardstock.
I used several layers of designpaper from Prima "Fairy Rhymes".
I also added a cakedoily in between.

The flowers I made from dies of Memory box.
For the centers I used wooden buttons.
The leaves are from Magnolia Doohicky's.

For the final touch, I added a chipboard sentiment
"Happy Birthday
It's Feast, afterall!

I hope you like the card.
Don't forget to check out the other DT-members.

One and Only Heart by Randi

Hello Sweet Pea lovers!

Spring has (finally) sprung here in Northern Norway too, and the snow is melting away from roads and gardens.
Spring means lots of Confirmations here in Norway, and I've made a card with my definitive favorite Sweet Pea Stamp, which is One and Only Heart by ching-chou kuik.
Here are some pics:

The finished card. As you can see I've been playing with my new Martha Stewart punch, and it it so much fun, and I love how decorative it turns out!

Some details

Gorgeous stamp - colored her up with Distress Inks and added Glossy Accents
and Liquid Pearls to some details

Behind the text I've made a hidden moneypocket

One and Only Heart by Randi

Hello Sweet Pea friends!

Wow, the weeks are really flying - we've already flied into the third week of 2013. I don't know where the first two went... LOL
Today I thought I could share some pictures of my creation that I made for the Surprise Blog Hop we made for Lynette for Christmas, in case you didn't take part in the hop.
I decorated a chocolate box, using my absolute favorite Sweet Pea stamp, which is ching-chou kuik's One and Only Heart. It was the first Sweet Pea Stamp I bought, and that was the beginning of my passion for Sweet Pea Stamps
I always use rubber stamps on my creations, coloring them up with Distress reinkers, paintbrush and water. For those of you that wonders, I usually stamp up the images with Archival Ink Coffee to soften up the image a bit, because I usually color up in soft colors.
Well, here are some pics of my Blog Hop project, I hope you like it:

Here is a picture of the finished box

I hope you got inspired! ;) Have a crafty week.

Sweet Pea Classics Part I

Hi everyone. I hope you're doing fine and enjoy summer.

Today I want to show you the first part of the Sweet Pea Classics series I created. Those are images which are some of my all time favourites. Those are images with which I fell in love from the first sight and still am in love with. And through them I got to know Sweet Pea Stamps a while ago. All those images are by the fabulous artist ching-chou kuik who's whole collection you can find HERE.

The first one is called 'Come Softly'. I coloured her with Distress Inks on 300 gram watercolour paper. I cannot say what designer papers I used as I had them left from other cards I made.

The second card I show you is made with 'One and Only Heart'. I coloured her as well with my Distress Inks on heavy 300 gram watercolour paper. The designer papers are from Marianne Design.

Well, soon I will show you two more Sweet Pea Classics. So watch out for my Part II who will be follow. Thank you so much for your visit. It is always so much appreciated.

Have a magical day!
Hugs, Karina
