Tricksters

Oh yes, Halloween is coming!  I am enjoying getting in the Halloween mood with the Halloween images sale from Sweet Pea Stamps

This lovely image is Tricksters by Terra Bedlespacher and can be purchased as a single or part of a fabulous Halloween set of four images on Sheet #155.  I don't believe that, even if mischievous, these darlings could actually hurt any one.  Do you?

Cherry Blossoms

Here's a wonderful Sweet Pea card from artist Connie Fong. This stamp is called Cherry Blossoms (CLICK HERE) and is found on Plate #185. Isn't she stunning? I didn't add a lot of extra flair to this card as the image itself is just beautiful. I can't wait to get more of her images so I can share them with you! As a little extra today, let me show you one more Halloween theme card that I gave out and remind you that there's a bunch of wonderful stamps on sale at the OverStock Sale (CLICK HERE) at the Sweet Pea site. This wonderful image is Terra Bidlespachers Halloween stamp (Plate #155). I added a wonderful saying about black cats to go with the black cats in the image and some fun black cat embellishments. "When black cats prowl and pumpkins gleem, may luck be your on Halloween." I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween season, now we are off to the Fall time!

Cheers, Holley

More Halloween Fun

I just had to do a couple more cuties for Halloween!

This first one is Terra Bidlespacher's Halloween from plate #155.  I used some non traditional Halloween colors and love the look.  Just a bit different and fun.

This image is called Halloween Night and is drawn by Katerina Koukiotis.  It is on plate #150.  The entire plate is wonderful Halloween images.

Batty Halloween

Can you believe it? Halloween is almost here - where did the summer go! Oh wait, I for one am so glad summer is almost over. Too hot and way too humid for this girl!

Halloween is one of my favorite crafting holidays which means I had to color up this hauntingly big eyed beauty from Plate #155 - ©Terra Bidlespacher's Halloween:

The only problem with this fun crafting holiday is that I have loads of papers from previous years left over but it's not the paper that makes the card. It's definitely this cute big eyed girl.

She is colored with Copics, then die cut with Spellbinders large oval die. I added the pom-pom ribbon around the edges using glue.
Adhered with 1/4" dimensional foam to compensate for the dimension of the pom-pom ribbon.

The little bats are punched with a Martha Stewart bat punch and the black embossed panel was embossed with the Haunted Halloween embossing folder. I used a Versamark pad and lightly rubbed it over the raised areas, then adding some Perfect Pearls with a brush - just to add a little shimmer. The sentiment is also from Plate #155 although I should have used the other sentiment that comes with this plate. But for now, I'll leave it as is.

Fun, fun card .... if you haven't played with the gorgeous halloween stamps from Sweet Pea Stamps..... you're missing out.

It's all about Terra Bidlespacher's images

Today I have some cards to share with you using images by our artist Terra Bidlespacher.

Isn't she just too cute??

For these next 2 it is just the images colored.  I will make them into cards later and show them to you when they are done.  I just wanted you to see how cute they were colored.

This one is "Halloween" and she can be found on sheet #5, Plate #155

This one is called "Circus" and she can be found one Sheet #3, Plate #119.

Tad Batty

Here's a totally awesome stamp from Sweet Pea artist Terra Bidlespacher called Tad Batty! She's just super cute. After the Halloween card that I made last week and all the new Halloween theme stamps I have been seeing (and ordered of course!!) I am already in the Halloween stamping mood! SUPER in the Halloween card mood. I pulled out this wonderful stamp and had to make a card. This stamp comes on Plate #155 with other Halloween theme items and even includes the wonderful saying I used on this card!

I also used some nice printed and glittery paper as well as some of the beautiful lace that I got while in Turkey. There's some fun brads, some Prima flowers and a little bling. All the great things that a card needs.

Right now this cute stamp is on sale, so check it out on the Sweet Pea website.

Cheers all! Holley

Inspired by

Today I have a card I made using one of  Anna Marine's images called "Captivated by Silence", sheet #1, Plate #160.  I don't know about you but I love this image and all of Anna Marine's artwork is just so beautiful and lifelike.  If you like her you have to go and check out the rest of her artwork that Lynette of Sweet Pea Stamps has turned into rubber HERE.
I used some Basic Grey DP, DCVW DP, Sizzlets corner and Flourish dies, Distressing ink in Black Soot, and the ribbon was made using some purple and black Gingham wired ribbon.

The image was colored with copics.
Skin:E11,E01,E00,E000 and E0000
Hair: E51,E53,E57,E47,E49
Top and Roses: RV91,RV93,RV95,RV99,RV00,V99
Background: RV91,RV93,V00,V01,V91 and V95

I hope you like her.  I took my pics outside so it kind of washes out her skin.  There is a lot more shading on her skin in real life.

For this Card I wanted to make a Halloween card, as I wanted to color this sweet image by Terra Bidlespacher.
The name of this image is "Moonlight Hijinks" , and you can get her as a single or on

I used some Martha Stewart Halloween papers, American crafts ribbon, K&Company die cut 3D bats and the sentiment is from Sweet Pea Stamps and I cut it up and attached it to the little banner.

Here are some close ups of the image.  I really love how this image turned out.  I used all warm grey copic marker, W00,W1,W3,W5,W7,and W9

Here is a little tag I made using another one of Terra Bidlespacher adorable images.  I just love her artwork, a little dark but also oh so cute.  I used "Tad Batty", from sheet #5, Plate #155 or she can be purchased as a single.

Thanks for stopping by today and thank you for all your sweet comments.
