The Dutchess

Rebecca Sinz has a very unique style and I looooooooooooooove it!  I was playing with some of her images and created this with The Dutchess.

The paper is For the Record by Echo Park.  The Dutchess is also available as part of a full plate of four images including another of my favorites, Gothic Lament.

Hi everyone.   Today I have a card to share with you using  Rebecca Sinz's  "The Ghost" .  Which is available at Sweet Pea Stamps on Sheet #1/ Plate #147.

I really love this image and wanted to color the cracked wall something other than gray and as soon as I found this paper I knew what I wanted to do.

 For this one I used one of  Karen Middletons Fairies from sheet #11, Plate #138. I created this card using a sketch from The Deconstructed Sketch, sketches.  I used some SEI DP and colored the Image with copics. I wanted to give her a softer look, than I normally would with my coloring.

 I used  Melissa Dawn's  "Phantom of the Masquerade" and this image can be found on sheet #2 Plate #146 or it can also be purchased as a single at Sweet Pea Stamps.  If you haven't checked out the store recently you really should as we have soooo many new stamps and artist, a little something for everyone.

The image was colored with copics and a clear sakura pen for the glitter effect.

Gothic Lament

One of the many newer artists at Sweet Pea Stamps is Rebecca Sinz.  Anyone who knows me, knows that the minute I saw this image called Gothic Lament I had to have it.  The entire sheet is amazing, but this image just called to me.  I have no idea the official name of the technique I used, but after stamping the image in brown ink, I spot colored it with Copics.  I then spritzed the entire thing with Sugar Cookie Glimmer Mist.  After it was dry, I cut it apart and then pieced it back together on some deep purple velum.  I cut it out with my nesties as well as a dark brown frame.  The background paper is corner pieces from a sheet of the Prima Moulin Rouge collection.  This was one of those really fun to make creations that started forming in my brain and as I began just all came together perfectly.  That is such a rare occasion, and I just enjoy every second of the process when it happens!
