Do you remember the card I made for last week, using the supercute Li'l Polly stamp by Elisabeth Bell? Well, today I am back with the "twin-card" - made with the gorgeous Elisabeth Bell stamp named Posing. I found these two stamps so cute, and I got thinking about a girl growing up from a cute little birthday girl, and becoming a 15 years old girl who's getting confirmated (Not really sure what the English word for that is...)
I am sure you will think you've seen this card before - and you kind of have! I made this card based on the same layout, stash and papers as last week's card. It was so much fun making these "twin-cards" - or maybe I should say "girl-growing-up-card"?! Ha ha!
Anyway... Here are some pics:

See you next week (There's NOT going to be even one more look alike card then - I PROMISE!! Ha ha!

What a cool concept Randi! They do look like the same girl grown up. I had not noticed that before.
ReplyDeleteI like how you mirrored both cards!

so sweet Ranid, I love the softness of this. You did a stunning job with this and I love how you made her necklace stand out. Precious!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fabulous idea! I love your set of cards and it really does work as showing a girl growing up. Such a pretty, soft colour scheme too. :)

Oh such a sweet card(S)! I love the soft colors and every little detail. I missed the pop out necklace until I read about it in comments, and I really love it! Cool idea! Hugs Milo <3
ReplyDeleteRandi, I love your idea of creating this twin card, the one of the little girl, the other of the grown up little lady! Wow!! The corrugated craft looks so great and the white paint gives your project a beautiful shabby chic touch. Also love your soft colouring and the stitching.

So cute, inside and out. I loved the one last week and it's like now she has a "sister" card. Too perfect. Now you HAVE to make another sister for it because I have TWO sisters. Hugs, Holley
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea! Love how the cards match. Great embellishments and design.
ReplyDeleteI love the twin cards. I like the idea of the growing up card :). What fun and it just shows how much these images can work the same and be different.
