Sea Turtle Kiss - Mitzi Sato-wiuff
Stopping in with a little project that I had a lot of fun with. I used a rubber stamped image from Mitzi Sato-Wiuff called 'Sea Turtle Kiss'.
I stamped it and then with my printer enlarged it, and then used tracing paper to copy it onto a tray that I had painted with chalk board paint.
Then I went over the lines with a white paint pen to make them permanent.
I tried a couple different kinds of chalk before I found some that worked like I wanted and ended up doing several layers of the same colors to get them dark enough (I used 'workable fixative' between each layer).
After I had he colored image how I liked, I sprayed it with acrylic sealer and then decorated it with the twine and seashells. A hanger on the back and all is ready to pretty up a wall :) I have several more ideas in mind for similar projects :)
All for today - Take Care
