You're a star

I made this card with a specific person in mind, wanting to tell her she's a star. And the gorgeous Karen Middleton image, is just perfect for that.

She's colored with copics, and these are the ones I used:
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11, E13
Dress: RV0000, RV000, RV00, BV0000, V20, V22
Wings: B60, B63, B66
Yellow: Y32, Y35, Y38, 0
Hair: E50, E51, E53, E55

I wanted to make a gatefold card, but with a twist. I really like the paper on the inside of the card, so I wanted it to show off. But once I had everything cut to size, I realised it was a little to much, with the pink from the inside. So I covered it up again with a little vellum. Now it's still possible to see parts of the inside card, but it's toned down.

Once I had it all figured out, it was quite easy to assemble. And I just use one of the flowers to tuck in the heart, keeping the card closed, but very easy to open.
