All of this week over at Sweet Pea Stamps it is "Variations Week" where a specific artist is picked and the whole Design Team using the same image/selection of images.
For October the chosen "Variations Week" artist is the ever so talented Teresa Sherman. She designs a whole variety of images including fairies, Halloween images and those on the darker side!!! The Sweet Pea Stamps Design Team had to use one of the images from Teresa Sherman's Halloweenies multi-image plate (Sheet 10, Plate 230 and on this sheet you get Witchypoo, Vamp, Mummy and Frankie). What I like with this rubber stamp multi-image sheet you also get a little stamp to match the bigger one which I think is nice to go on the inside of the card or the back of the card. These images are also available as digital stamps and single rubber stamps.
We don't really celebrate Halloween over here in the UK so it was just a good excuse to be a big kid and have a good play with these images. I decided to use all four images: Vamp, Frankie, Mummy and Witchypoo and make them into tags to give away with some sweets if we get callers for Halloween.
All of the images have been coloured in with Promarkers/Flexmarkers, areas distressed with Pan Pastels and inked around with Tim Holtz's Black Soot distress ink.
The backing papers are from Summertime Designs and Bearly Mine Designs Halloween Hauntings. I have finished the tags off with fibres, ribbon and Halloween stickers.
Here is a picture of all the tags together.
It would be lovely if you could pop on over to the Sweet Pea Stamps Blog to have a look at the other creations throughout the week.
Such beautiful tags, Kym! The looks so great together. I love the spider web you used on all of them. And your colouring is fabulous!
