Ching-Chou Kuik - Exotic Halloween

Here is another scrapbook page I have made.  This time I have used the Sweet Pea Stamps image by the artist Ching-Chou Kuik and it is called "Exotic Halloween".  This image is available as a digital stampsingle rubber stamp and as a multi-image plate (Sheet 11, Plate 38 - the image Exotic Halloween comes on the multi-image plate with Time Flies, Moonlight Whispering and Fluttering Butterflies.
I have stamped the image with Tim Holtz's Vintage Photo distress ink and used water to bleed out the colour a bit.  To add some tones I have used my Rusty Hinge distress ink as well.  The backing papers were all scraps.  I'll let you into a secret the top patterned paper wasn't big enough so I had to put a border over the top as I thought it matched the image well.  I have finished the card off with a torn around sentiment, flowers (one of which I inked around with Vintage Photo) and some Perfect Pearls.

  7. I love the technique you used. The softness of the colors didn't take anything from the image. The whole card was put together very nicely. Great job.
