One Sweet Challenge - September 2013 - Card by Kym

A new month is starting and it's time for another challenge at the One Sweet Challenge Blog.  This time the topic is "brown, yellow, orange and red colors".
For my card I have used the Sweet Pea Stamps image by Karen Middleton called "Art Nouveau Two".  This is available as a digital stamp here.  I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers/Flexmarkers.  I have inked around the edge with Tim Holtz's Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Vintage Photo distress inks.  I have then put some mica in a spray bottle with water to add a mottled effect to the background.  All the backing papers I have been given but there are in tones of yellow, brown red, and orange.  I have used Vintage Photo, Fired Brick. Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade distress inks to colour layers of my flowers die-cut from a book.  The layers of the flowers which I have scrunched up are held together with a brad.  The card has been finished off with some mesh ribbon, fabric leaves, buttons and a Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment.
