Featured Artist Week: Joanne Schempp - Card by Shanna

Shanna here with my pick for artist of the week. This week we are playing with Joanne Schempp images and I decided to go with Diamond Girl. 


I kept the card simple because I really wanted to focus on the image. I really feel like this is a party card though like a mermaid getting her dance on in the moonlight! Well not sure mermaids can dance but I am sure they can wiggle lol. Sorry I couldn't help myself. I enjoyed coloring this image so much isn't she fun. I love all her jewelry elements which is why I picked her.

    Gorgeous work Shanna, I love the blues and the amazing skin tones on your coloring. The greys you used to surround the body so make the layering on the card stand out so she looks dimensional. Amazing.
