It's Variations Week again and this month the Design Team have all been creating with this adorable An Apple A Day stamp by Karen Middleton:
I loved the cute rather vintage style of this image and I decided to try colouring it in sepia tones, with red apples as little touches of colour:
I also added some Glossy Accents to the apples and edged the image with Antique Gold Frantage embossing powder. I used some pretty patterned paper that I got recently and added layered lace and pretty blossoms.
You can buy this adorable image in red rubber or digi format from the Sweet Pea Stamps store. Don't forget to check back during this week to see the rest of the Design Team's fabulous creations using this stamp.
Wonderful and unique style of coloring for sepia. I haven't tried this technique in a long time!
ReplyDeleteAli, love the sepia look of this. The papers you have chosen work so well along with the embellishments. Love that paisley embellishment - not sure I could part with that on a card!!! Best wishes, Kym xxx
