This week is Variations Week once again and this time the Design Team are all creating with Connie Fong's adorable Mother and Baby image. There are two versions - Boy or Girl - and I've chosen to work with the Girl version:
I love this pretty image. It absolutely captures the tenderness of a mother's love. :) I used my Promarkers to colour it in warm shades of red and pink:
I went with a rich, warm feeling for my card with pretty patterned papers in rich colours, and lots of embossing and gold and copper tones.
I added lacy ribbon and clusters of pretty flowers and touched them with glitter glue.
And I added a few final accents with a copper Perlen Pen.
You can buy this gorgeous stamp in digi or red rubber form from the Sweet Pea Stamps store.
Ali, I love the bright colours of red, pink, gold and copper you have used for this card. Those flowers are very yummy. Stunning. Best wishes, Kym xxx

ReplyDeleteLovely coloring, I would never think to pick red and pink together but it's just wonderful on this card, your background and all the embossing is perfect.
