Karen Middleton's Summer by Randi

Hello to all of you!
I hope you're all doing fine, and that life is being good to you.
Today I am sharing a new card with you, made with the beautiful stamp named Summer by the amazing artist Karen Middleton. I just love her beautiful girlie images, they are so perfect for Confirmation cards, which I am making lots of these days. Springtime means Confirmation time here in Norway ;)
I've stamped up the image on Canson Aquarelle paper with Archival Ink Coffee (as always with me...) and colored her up with Distress reinkers (also as always with me... LOL)
This time I've been doing a small twist on my card: I've folded a Joy-Fold card. It has been a while since I tried a new folding technique, I love folding!! I love the Joy-folding - so easy and yet so effective!

    Oh so beautiful. It's very soft and sweet to stamp with Brown. Sometimes I use distress pads and then color with distress reinkers and pens.

    Randi, this is fabulous. I've always loved the way you use distress reinkers. I've tried but struggle with faces/hair but after seeing this I think I must play a bit more. Best wishes, Kym xxx

    Oooh I've never seen a joy fold card before - it's lovely! :)

    I loooove this image by Karen and your oh-so-soft colouring on it is just lovely. Such a gorgeous pastel colour scheme on this card, with pretty papers and inked edges- I love it!
