Rachel Anderson's Angelic

My card this week features Rachel Anderson's beautiful Angelic digi stamp. There's something hauntingly beautiful about this image of a solitary angel crouching in the waves.
I coloured the figure with my Promarkers, using soft pastel colours and lots of white space for a soft, almost bleached-out look, and used Flexmarkers for a really pale, subtle background:
For the card I used a white 8x8 card blank and some pretty Craftwork Cards papers that toned really well with my colour scheme on the digi image. I added a punched border, some lace and pearls, some vellum banners (also from Craftwork Cards) and some pretty Melissa Frances resin corners.
A fairly simple card that lets the beautiful image take centre stage. :)

  3. That ethereal look to this image is what drew me to her before and your creation only makes her lovelier Ali.
The vellum works so well with the soft colors you've chosen and I like the pearl edging!
