One and Only Heart by Randi

Hello Sweet Pea friends!

Wow, the weeks are really flying - we've already flied into the third week of 2013. I don't know where the first two went... LOL
Today I thought I could share some pictures of my creation that I made for the Surprise Blog Hop we made for Lynette for Christmas, in case you didn't take part in the hop.
I decorated a chocolate box, using my absolute favorite Sweet Pea stamp, which is ching-chou kuik's One and Only Heart. It was the first Sweet Pea Stamp I bought, and that was the beginning of my passion for Sweet Pea Stamps
I always use rubber stamps on my creations, coloring them up with Distress reinkers, paintbrush and water. For those of you that wonders, I usually stamp up the images with Archival Ink Coffee to soften up the image a bit, because I usually color up in soft colors.
Well, here are some pics of my Blog Hop project, I hope you like it:

Here is a picture of the finished box

The inside of the box

One and Only Heart. I framed her in and mounted a gelatine plate to the frame

I hope you got inspired! ;) Have a crafty week.

  1. Very pretty construction of this special container Randi. I cannot recall seeing it earlier so not sure if I was too quick to scan the blog entries or totally spaced out?
Love your gel overlay by the way!
