Looking out the window

I took a fun stamp designed by Elisabeth Bell of a little girl sitting outside with flowers.  This stamp is called Lady Bug.  You can see on the top of the card I added some shimmery mica cardstock with designer lace across the top.  I did that to make this card look like a "window," where the lace and die cut across the top of the card are the heading curtain. (lol, for those of you who like me aren't decorators, I am talking about that top part of the curtain that is used to decorate and hide the "curtain bar upon which the curtain slides back and forth or the window mount with the blinds.  Sorry if my terminology is not correct.)   Now, the sweet child is of course sitting outside and the person reading the card sees the child as if they are  "inside" the home looking out the window.
I also added a wonderful sentiment to the card, "There are two lasting bequests we can give our children: one is roots, the other is wings."  Be sure and check out all the wonderful designs that Sweet Pea stamps has by artist Elisabeth Bell!  They are all just as cute at this little girl.

Have a great week and think about creating a card from some unique point of view.

Cheers, Holley
