Variations Week: Randi's View

Today it's my turn to show you a card made with the gorgeous Valarie Wade image, named Hello Birdie.
I just love this little girlie with the birdie on her hat :)

But I have to tell: I don't feel too comfortable with how the coloring turned out... I usually only color up rubberstamps, since I use Distress reinkers as color medium. But because it takes some time for rubberstamps to get from America to Norway, I had to color up a digi image instead this time. And WOW, I've had really much trouble to get a good result!!
I've tried like a billion different tips to get an okey result. But I think maybe it all comes down to the printer I'm using. Whatever I did, I could not get the image stop bleeding while coloring. Well.... anyway: Here's my how my card ended up!!

Hugs, Randi

  7. Ooh Randi this is lovely.. I love the soft colours and although I know you're not happy with the colouring, the way it's come out actually works really well, especially with the distressed edges. You're too hard on yourself! :)

    Gorgeous fancy border too.
