Merry Christmas from Elena

Here's a stunning image from Sweet Pea artist Nikki Burnette called Elena (Plate #73).  This stamp is just stunning.  It's a great image for making a heart warming Christmas card for the one you hold close.  It has incredible detail, but to highlight the sexy lady on the card, I colored in the background images using five different shades of warm grey copic markers.
Here's a close up of the colored image.  I colored the girl in warm colors to go with the warm greys in the background.  Isn't she beautiful? I just love those holly socks.  I would so wear those!

I added one of the vertical sentiment from the Sweet Pea vertical sentiments plate, Holiday Veritcals (Plate #13).  Then I added some gorgeous bling to finish off the card.  This paper is also some of the beautiful Bazzill embossed paper that already has a layer of shimmery decor on it (that's the dark red coloration in the background).  What a perfect Oooo La La card for the Hubby.

Check out this stamp when thinking about what you want to make your dearest for the holidays.

Cheers, Holley

  4. This is gorgeous Holley - I like how the image is brought to the front by keeping the background monochromatic.
