Adrift
This is another wonderful mermaid image drawn by Rebecca Sinz for Sweet Pea Stamps called Adrift. I have been playing around with colors because to me mermaids, fairies, etc. can all be any color, have any color hair, etc. That is part of what makes them so fabulous!
The background paper is from the Bazzill pack Miss Teagan Sue. It was super wonderful to use bright colors and flowers with such dreary weather outside.

I live in Idaho with a great hubby and two sons. I love the fiber arts and papercrafts. I have started running and recently completed a FULL MARATHON. If you want a glimpse in to my life, this is the place for you. Hope you enjoy your time.

Lovely. I love all the pink and the contrast with the black... and the little details like the touch of pink eye shadow. :)

Wow, never thought of that image in pink and such light colors, amazing. I looks so different from the originals. I hope everyone stops and takes a look at the artists original coloring now so they can see how versatile this stamp is. Lovely work Alex!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! Black and pink are great together, and those papers are really beautiful! Love those leafes too ;)
