It is no secret that I love all things Halloween. I have taken a couple of the gorgeous Sweet Pea Stamps images that are not technically Halloween images and done them up in Halloween colors.
First up is Gothic Moon. This is an image drawn by Rebecca Sinz and can be purchased in both red rubber or digital. Isn't the silhouette of the cat just a wonderful addition?
The second is an image called Salting Slugs by Terra Bidlespacher. I love the girls that Terra draws. They have so much expression and personality I can not get enough of them!

How clever of you Alex to think of this! They are both very good but I like your last the best....that drippy goo is perfect on the frame!!

Fab idea to colour non-Halloween stamps in Halloween colours.. it works reall well! The first image works fabulously as a Halloween one, especially with that black cat. Lush papers too!
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree with Connie that the drippy effect on the second card is just fabulous! Gorgeous image too. :)

These are both beautifully done Alex. I particularly like how you have balanced your second image with the cobweb and diecut.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes, Sharon
Both of these are fabulous Alex. Your coloring and layouts are always done perfect. Beautiful work
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, I just love the die cut at the base of the image for the Salting Slugs card. You almost miss it because of the polka dots but its a great touch!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards, Alex, both of them. Love the background papers you used, they are perfect to those beautiful images. Also love the black lace on your first card, and the spider web die on the second. Love to use this die on my Halloween projects as well.
