What is the most unusual item you used on a card that you recycled??

ReplyDeleteI think my most unusual item used on a card was some spaghetti and some garlic skin for a customer who knew someone LOVED spaghetti bolognese and if allowed would eat it each day. Needless to say here card was never thrown out!!! Best wishes, Kym xxx

I've cut down the screw top from a bottle of wine to use as an embellishment. It had a capital T on it and I used it as the first letter of a Thanks card.
ReplyDeleteI've also used an old house key, shined it up for a "You have the key to my heart" card for DH.
Then there was the time I glue gunned birthday candles on a card. I will use anything that is handy.

Okay, maybe it was not really unusual. But I used tights just for the background. It looks really cool :D

To not repeat the others,as I have used most of these items too,I like to use old Christmas cards, cut into 1/8" strips, placed on cardstock with double sided adhesive stuck to the cs and a sticky side up - place the 1/8" strips to make your pattern and then die cut. I win at the County and State Fairs everytime I enter one of these cards...I call it "Faux Quilting"! Recycling is great!!! Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI was in a hotel in the weekend, and I took white coasters for crafting xD They are really beautiful, white napkin paper with embossing.
ReplyDeleteI used my punches to punch images out of used soda cans, i.e butterflies, fireflies, hearts. I then added them onto greeting cards. Thanks for this opportunity to win some stamp images!
