OK here is the last one.....
How Does Your Garden Grow......
way off topic, but to me it is still an art form.
This has been on my mind this past week, what colors I am going to pick this year. I normally do pinks, bluey/ purple and whites. Last year I only did yellows and blues. Hated the yellow flowers and in July dug them up and threw them all away. So.............
What color combination(s) are you using this year for your annual flowers. This could be one, two or how many you are going to use.
You have until 8:00 PM eastern to post your comment.
After 8:00 I will close the comment section.

ReplyDeleteSome blues and lilacs with little touches of white call for me this year :) Thanks for candies!
ReplyDeleteI don't plant annual flowers. I have holly bushes and barberry bushes around 3 sides of my house so everythng is mostly red & green. I also have some hybrid tea roses scattered about. Most of those are red, white or pink. That reminds me I need to buy some more roses :0)
ReplyDeleteI love bright jewel tones, so purples, blues, and fuschia/pinks. Petunias, Dahlias, and Pincushion flowers are favorites, and usually fit the bill.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very good Question. And i am going shopping for a flowers this weekend. Last year i have Red and White flowers around my Deck. Then i have in other section Pink and White, they come out every Year (love it).
ReplyDeleteBut this Year i will go with two of my Favorite colors Blue and Pink.
Good luck with your Garden.
Hugs Nataliya
We just bought a new house, so I'm not sure if I'll only make some flowerpots with my fav colors: Purple, pink and blue tones ;)

Sadly, I don't have a garden, but if I did I think I would have lots of blues and whites in it.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a green thumb, but I don't :) But, IF I had a garden, I think I would go au naturale with wildflowers... a plethora of color with low maintenance ;)
ReplyDeleteHahahahahaaaaa! Flowers? Plants?
ReplyDeleteI have a garden. However, it's best that I do as little as possible to it, for the safety of the plants.
I don't have a green thumb. I have a black thumb! I am the kiss of death to plantlife. I have never yet succeeded in keeping a pot plant alive. I've even killed a cactus! No matter what I do, no matter how carefully I follow the care instructions, I kill them. *sigh*
This year we have a lot of purple/pink and white. We filled a lot of pots and hopefully they bloom next week when the weather is getting warmer overhere in the Netherlands.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Marianne
