Standing Pretty

Hi everyone, hope you all had a wonderful and lightful Christmas time. Now we are counting the days till the changing of the Year... not far to go...

Before I want to show you my recent card I made with this oh so sweet image by the fabulous artist Elisabeth Bell called 'Standing Pretty'. After quite some red, green, gold and blue tones I used lately for doing Christmassy and wintery cards I gave a go with pink... so it even looks more springlike. Well, as for me I am happy that the shortest day of the year is past again and the days are going to be longer again. 

I made a shaker card this time and quite like how it turned out. I coloured the image with Distress Inks.

    WOW, WOW, WOW Karina, this is so darn adorable. I love everything about it. The background, the shaker style card, the embellishements, etc. Fabulous!

    Stunning Karina! A very striking creation but I like most how you have an aura around her with a tiny white edging. Masking and fussy cutting on top of all the other bling?

    WOW, that card is just amazing Karina. I love it. it's just wonderful and a shaker card on top of it all. Those Elisabeth Bell images are totally cute and you made her look awesome.

    Karina, this is so pretty. I love the colors and your design is gorgeous. Love the shaker style. I have never made one before, but I do love them.
