Quick and simple collage
I have a quick and easy project for you today: a small decorated matchbox. I used one of the tiny collage stamps from plate 19. I don't know if you have seen this idea, but a couple of years ago it was very big in Sweden. Everyone was decorating matchboxes as a going away present. I didn't really get it, but thought I'd give the decorating itself a try. I think that matching (sorry about the pun) this with a candle and a bath gel maybe would be a better going away present. It's such a simple, cheap and great way to personalize your gifts. Maybe an idea for the upcoming holidays?

Wonderful project. I love the canvas. I think a cute decorated matchbook with just about anything that matches light would be a great gift. My sister and her family go camping all the time. This is an ideal cute thing for them. Thanks for the clever idea.
ReplyDeletegreat idea, will have to CASE it!
ReplyDeleteI like your idea - certainly can never find any matches when you need them!
ReplyDeleteI like the style and this collage stamp would certainly work well for the other items mentioned.
Fabulous Katarina

Katarina, another gorgeous gift idea, you always have such clever ideas. I like the idea of giving it with a candle, that would be awesome. You did a beautiful job coloring this image in.
