In honour of our spotlight artist I have used 5 of the 6 stamps available at Sweetpea stamps.  The first two are from Elisabeth's first collection of rubber stamps - all available as single stamps. There are three to chose from - I've used two of them and have the third one on order.

The first one is called Kiki with Dolly and is just so cute. I just had to have this one! It's wonderful how stamps can invoke memories and this one makes me smile as my son loved the beach when he was small.

I have tried to create the feeling of summer holidays using a number of dies - such as Film strip and ticket dies as well as the flowers and flourishes.

And the finished card.

The next one is called Little Curls and has to be my most wanted stamp - having seen it as a pencil sketch. I was just so pleased when it was made into a rubber stamp and had to use it straight away!

I'm not sure why I found it so compelling - maybe it's the wonder of being young and full of wonder! Or my son wouldn't thank me for
saying he had the most wonderful curly hair
which he still has of course and had he been
a girl could have had his hair styled just like this!

And now the finished card. I hope you think I have done this fabulous stamp justice!

And these final three are from her latest collection available here at Sweetpea stamps.
This one is called Sweet is Summer and is available as a singel stamp.

Again what can I say about this beautiful image - another one I was waiting for!

I love this image and how versatile it is to use by just changing the colour scheme and you have a totally different looking project. I love the bright vibrant colours you get in the summer and appear on swimming costumes - probably the only time we wear such bright colours together!
My next card to share is Standing Pretty by Elisabeth Bell available here.
Another Cutie must have! Below is the finished card.
And the final one of this collection is Music Box.
I used the backing paper and paper pieced her dress then added a gold stickles glue. All details of how these are made are available on my blog site here.

All of these stamps are available as single stamps so if you've seen one you like why not pop over to the Sweetpea stamps on-line shop and check out the gorgeous stamps there!

Hope you have felt inspired and don't forget to check out the fabulous stamps at Sweetpea and all the wonderful talented artists there. Check back regularly here to see the DT inspiration.

Best wishes,

  1. Wow Sharon. I have such a hard time doing the embellishments and overall card design that I was blown away by the many varieties. Wonderful cards.

  2. Wonderful work Sharon! When I try to duplicate that sort of detail it always seems like my small grandson (age 2) did it!! LOL
I guess my forte is simple and I ought to stick with it?
    I do love your cards!!

  3. What an awesome array of cards Sharon. I love all the embellishments you have used to showcase all these cute Elisabeth Bell images and great coloring too. I really love the way you did her dress on Music Box. I think my favorites are Music Box and Little Curls. I think It;s the layout and all the blues and blue is no where near my favorite color but I do love the way your blues look in your cards.

  4. SHARON! WOW!! These are amazing! Such details in each of them, but they are all soooooooooo different, yet all beautiful!!!

  5. Gorgeous cards, Sharon, and very very beautiful coloured..all of them!! Love the way you use DP, image colours and embellishments together..they always matched soo perfect♥!! I'm finished with my one E.B card now, but I've to wait for the photo batterie, hihi.

    Hugs, Ellen

  6. Sharon, each one of these are beautifully done. I love the way you colored the dress on the Music Box image, stunning.

  7. Just amazing Sharon, you shared so many wonderful cards with her images. I really love the one in blues. It's the one that stands out to me the most. They are all delightful.

  8. Wow, you were a busy lady, Sharon. Love all your cards you made. Such gorgeous creations all of them. Cannot say which one I like most. Wonderful job!
    Hugs, Karina

  9. I really really like the first one. I love the style with all sorts of small bits´n´pieces.

  10. You did an amazing job making the cards look complete and not cluttered... I like your style and I admire your talent! Brava!

  11. wow, you have outdone yourself, these are all gorgeous, but I love the collage feel of the first one the most.

  12. Wowswer each of these are just stunning. It is too hard to pick a favourite, they are all beautifully done.
