I have tried to create the feeling of summer holidays using a number of dies - such as Film strip and ticket dies as well as the flowers and flourishes.
And the finished card.
I'm not sure why I found it so compelling - maybe it's the wonder of being young and full of wonder! Or my son wouldn't thank me for
saying he had the most wonderful curly hair
which he still has of course and had he been
a girl could have had his hair styled just like this!
And now the finished card. I hope you think I have done this fabulous stamp justice!
And these final three are from her latest collection available here at Sweetpea stamps.
This one is called Sweet is Summer and is available as a singel stamp.
Again what can I say about this beautiful image - another one I was waiting for!
I love this image and how versatile it is to use by just changing the colour scheme and you have a totally different looking project. I love the bright vibrant colours you get in the summer and appear on swimming costumes - probably the only time we wear such bright colours together!
My next card to share is Standing Pretty by Elisabeth Bell available here. Another Cutie must have! Below is the finished card.
And the final one of this collection is Music Box.
All of these stamps are available as single stamps so if you've seen one you like why not pop over to the Sweetpea stamps on-line shop and check out the gorgeous stamps there!
Hope you have felt inspired and don't forget to check out the fabulous stamps at Sweetpea and all the wonderful talented artists there. Check back regularly here to see the DT inspiration.
Wow Sharon. I have such a hard time doing the embellishments and overall card design that I was blown away by the many varieties. Wonderful cards.
ReplyDeleteWonderful work Sharon! When I try to duplicate that sort of detail it always seems like my small grandson (age 2) did it!! LOL
ReplyDeleteI guess my forte is simple and I ought to stick with it?
I do love your cards!!

What an awesome array of cards Sharon. I love all the embellishments you have used to showcase all these cute Elisabeth Bell images and great coloring too. I really love the way you did her dress on Music Box. I think my favorites are Music Box and Little Curls. I think It;s the layout and all the blues and blue is no where near my favorite color but I do love the way your blues look in your cards.
